I wrote something today - but I just wasn't *into* the writing. It was good, it was a good idea - but I ended up not hitting save.
I go through these stages where I start to write something and I go, "I'm just not into this enough right now..." and don't post.
You guys may have to carry the weight of the BBS - keeping it active, for a week or so. Depending on how quickly I get passionate enough about something to discuss it here.
Either that, or throw a bunch of topics here that get the discussion going. But it isn't just here - I'm the same way on Uncensored. I read a post and go, "I have opinions on that..." and then hit Goto Next Room anyhow.
Ig - how come sometimes I see a "contacts" list that has all the users on the BBS - but if I click on Contacts, I only see my real e-mail address, my own account, and one other user?
A lot of my engagement is just reading things. Many times I don't have anything to add, so I add nothing.
Understood.

@TheDave - you available this weekend for a couple hours?
So, today I picked up another 4 Dell NUCs - 2 OptiPlex 3820 models, and 2 3040 models (a newer generation of i5 with 8gb of RAM and 128GB SSD).
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them, but all 6 of them look pretty sick stacked on top of one another - like a little mini-Dell OptiPlex production server rack.
In practical terms, this means I've got two laptops and two towers I need to get rid of - and they're pretty old. Retro-collector level. The oldest is a Dell P4.
and right now my office is a mess prepping these boxes for retirement and sale.
