Subject: PAL mode

How do I get my Gotek to boot into PAL mode? I did the dual mouse button startup and selected PAL but when the gotek drive boots the Amiga Eon demo it's in NTSC. lol And since I can't copy the two disks to my Amiga its kid of hard pay it in PAL. :(

Subject: Replacement keyboard connector and tape

Hi Amiga brain trust,

I have replaced my A600 keyboard membrane with a new hard membrane. I do not have the detachable connector and tape, think I discarded it with the packaging!

Any idea where I can find a detachable connector and tape online?

(No success on the main websites so far)

Subject: Run programs off the network (SMB)?

Hi! Here's what I'm hoping is possible.

Connect the Amiga to a SMB share
Mount ADF files / run programs directly from the network.

Is this possible? I did a deep dive on YouTube and Reddit but have only found tutorials on copying files to the Amiga.

Ultimately looking to just have a big network share full of ADF files that can be run directly off the share. Also to do sampling on my PC and pass the samples to the Amiga over the network, to use in a Tracker. I love the Gotek idea, but it's a bit limiting having to copy files to the card each time etc. A network share sounds like a dream!

I got the 8MB memory card at amigastore (but I think other vendors sell cards with the same basic layout like Vesalia). Installed it along with the switch which goes into the expansion port at the back. And then nothing. Amiga doesn’t ‘see’ the card. Expansion board diagnostic (double mouse button boot menu) doesn’t mention any expansion card. Tried cleaning the connector a little bit and installing again but no luck. Any tips? Thanks!

Subject: Amiga 1000

Hey everyone! So happy to have found this group. I have two Amiga 1000s and was able to get one to work a few years back but think the battery died or something else (got the red screen of death). Was able to play Battle Squadron & Lotus Esprit Turbo from a floppy but next morning the fun was over. I would love to get it running again. I have an extra disk drive and 2 screens as well. I'm afraid the data on those floppies are prolly wiped in most cases. Any suggestions on how to get it running again. I would love to save all those games and replay a few. I miss Speedball and Gods. Thank you in advance!

I read these guys about to dump hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars into restoring old Amigas - all the headache and heartache they're going to experience, and I feel like shouting at them, "Get a MiSTer! Get a V4! Stop, you idiot!"

But they never listen. They don't understand. They think it is emulation.

Any modern mice that support PS2 protocl from the tiny wireless receivers? I can make my own Amiga adapters but would really like something small that just disappears behind the Amiga.
