Subject: Immortal Joysticks - Coming soon to Kickstarter
![]() | Hi everyone. For a while now, I have been building joysticks. They are made from heavy-duty aluminium enclosures with arcade parts and a braided cable. I've got to the point, where the only way I can carry on producing them is if I get a manufacturer on board and have them batch made in a factory. I am therefore going to be launching a Kickstarter in early June to try and raise the funds needed to make this happen. If you have any interest in the joysticks, please sign up to my mailing list at immortaljoysticks.co.uk/signup and you will get a notification when the Kickstarter goes live. [link] [comments] |
Does anyone have current contact details or know of how to get the source code to the ConnectLine BBS system?

Thanks.

I owned an 600HD a few years ago but it sadly died on me and I didn’t know at the time it was repairable. I’m wanting to get another amiga, I won’t be using it for gaming much, nor really touching the custom chips, I enjoy writing and porting software applications to various systems and I want to start making applications for workbench, I’m not sure whether I should go down the route of a real amiga and upgrading it for 3.2 and doing all the chip ram upgrades and adding an 020, or if I should spend the same amount of money on a vampire or just buy an old PPC mac and install MorphOS on it.
Any advice would be really helpful x

![]() | Hi all, hoping someone can assist :) I’m currently building an A1200 in an A1200.net transparent case, and noticed it seems to have a ‘cutout’ and mount for, what I’m guessing is, an LCD screen. A1200.net says the case supports the Lotharek HxC floppy emulators, and the screens provided on these look about the right size for the mount (https://lotharek.pl/productdetail.php?id=163). This is further confirmed in this forum post, where a user explains they bought a Lotharek and mounted the LCD here, without cutting the case since it’s clear(ish) - see pic - this is what I want to do as well. I have a GOEX on pills that the LCD will need to connect to (4 pin - 3.3v, GND, SCL, SDA). Lotharek doesn’t seem to sell the LCD separately, and it also looks soldered onto the emulator board? My question is, are these LCDs a standard size, or at least available elsewhere separately? Thanks in advance :) [link] [comments] |
Subject: Indivision ECS V3. I’m considering one for my A500 got the super Denise waiting but…
I’m wondering, with it installed, if I can still use the 520 to connect to a TV. I have a flat screen in the lounge that I’d like to use the VGA on sometimes, then a CRT TV in the den. So I’d like it to be interchangeable. Any ideas as it doesn’t mention this on the Indivision website.

I'm creating utility that converts images to various Amiga graphics modes. I have a question about HAM6 (and HAM8) mode. If I create a 320px full screen image, do I have to take the first pixel of the row from the palette, or can I use a HAM modification based on the last pixel of the previous row? If there standard practice in this matter? Also can I combine HAM6 and PCHG?

Subject: Does anyone else remember the file Noah's.arc?
I had an Amiga 500 and I remember an archive made available on the BBSes way back when, called Noahs.arc.
It had a fair amount of text files on a variety of subjects related to using Amiga's, including recommended settings for the interlaced resolution, physical desk set up (across an old door?), and programs/demos the author recommended.
Does anyone else here remember it?

Hi all,
Has anyone any knowledge/ability to reprogram the firmware on a CS MKII Amiga accelerator.
The symptoms are...boots fine with IDE HD and/or floppy disk, runs all programs fine, recognizes the ram on board and in the 4000D....but does not recognize any Zorro boards in the daughterboard. Except the bottom ( video ) slot which has a 2320 de-interlacer board which also works fine.
So I have tried the MK II update on floppy and the response is "firmware damaged"....I made sure the jumper was correct according to the manual.
So it appears to be a firmware glitch preventing the update.
I'm not sure if the firmware is able to be flashed to the IC alternately or not.
Thanks for any assistance

Hi, as the title says I want to know how to run OctaMED on WinUAE. I'm new to the program (winuae) and I have no idea on how to use it. There are no tutorials for it (as far as I know) and none specifically for OctaMED. I really want to use this program and make some half-ass music. And if in the end I can't even run it, I would really like to know some close alternitives.
I have the A1200 Rom I need
I have the .lha file that is required
I just don't know what to do.
