I recently picked up an Amiga Mini and have been enjoying some nostalgic gaming, I bought a couple of adapters to allow me to use old 9 pin joysticks and for the most part they work great.
One problem though is that the autofire function on the joysticks just isn’t rapid at all, does anyone have any tips for changing settings to help this or have I got to hope for a firmware update to improve the compatibility?

I am almost ready to pounce on this, but it is pricey. Amiga Magic CIB (Escom version I think) for 600€ for
A1200 Amiga Magic original box contents, like manuals, bundled disk etc. PSU Mouse RF cable Amiga 1200 PSU
After market installed CF Reader with WB 3.1 and WHDload Phase 5 Blizzard 1220/4 Tubo Memory Board with a 68020 and room for another 4MB.
Would you think this price is fair? I think it is, but still a bit deeper in my pockets than I had anticipated. I left the Amiga scene in 1993 for a PC, and didn't really look back.
But these days I am sick and tired of x86 and Microsoft, and I just want to muck about with old C64s and thought Amiga might also be rubbing that itch. And I really enjoy the look of the A1200, and I know the missing numpad will be a problem with the games I like playing.

So it looks like my PS32Lite is being prepared to ship. I probably should have sorted this before, but I wanted to just preorder and forget about it and not obsess over how long it was taking (which I've nicely done).
I have a PI 3B or a Pi Zero 2W here. Both are in other projects (MT32-pi and a Dirtywave M8 headless respectively) but neither of those projects are really used at the moment. I'm deciding whether I should buy a 3A+ which is about £30 and in stock or just re-use one of the other two for now. All the talk online seems to be about CM4 with an adapter board but unless you already own a CM4 (I don't) you ain't going to be getting one of those until at least the autumn.
Worth noting, wireless would be super handy as my A1000 and Mister both already take up the two network points at that end of the desk, so the choice is probably more about Zero 2 vs. 3A+ and free (I already own) vs £30. I'd rather not spend more if I don't have to but there isn't a huge amount of info on using one with a Zero 2W.
What would you do?

Subject: PiStorm32 Lite compatibility and ram expansion question
So, I have checked various reviews of the PiStorm32 Lite and I think it is exactly what I want for the Amiga 1200 I am about to buy off fleabay.
Looks like it acts as a massive ram expansion at the same time. But what about compatibility with games etc?
If some game acts up, like I've ready, can you disable it? And what happens to the ram expansion?
Is it possible to have a standard 4MB expansion AND a pihole at the same time? Or does it still provide RAM expansion when you disable the acceleration?

It tells the story of Guybrush Threepwood, a would-be pirate in search of Big Whoop, a truly legendary treasure, which is so secretly hidden nobody even knows what it consists of 😇🕹️👌 [link] [comments] |

Hi all,
Trying to fill in some gaps in my knowledge. Can anyone please help?
1) Was Amix going to be the default OS of Amiga had it survived or would it have been for the high end computing only?
2) Related to the above would Workbench have been attempted to be rebuilt on it or did they have another UI in mind?
3) Is this a line in the sand for older Amiga apps or would they have included an emulator. I had thought I had heard Dave Haynie say this would the case but can't find a reference to it
Lastly had anyone tried to revive it in the past? I think probably no as I can't find anything.
Thanks
