Hey guys, I've been trying to replay captive for the nostalgia but I've run into an annoying issue that's stopped me dead. When I press any key on my keyboard, if I not really quick and light it will double input. It's like my droids are super fast and skating around on ice.
I've tried both winuae and fs-uae with exactly the same result. Going into windows options and putting key repeat delay to super slow doesn't change anything. It's not related to emulation speed as everything else in the game runs at 100% original speed. Enemies move as normal and attacks cool down at thenright speed. Both emulators set to a500 exact cycle speed. When typing in Druid names or passwords, it also double or triple inputs letters, so I have to click the on screen keyboard.
Has anyone else had anything like this on any amiga emulated game and if so is there an option somewhere I'm missing?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi!
I am trying to get the Ishar games AGA versions working on my A1200.
I gave up on 1 because I keep running into the same graphical error.
Two seems more promising but it does not seem to recognize Disk B, the disk shows up in Workbench when I select it, but once I load the game and disk A has finished, it asks for disk b it but does not want to accept that disk.
The floppy light flashes and the "Disk B" prompt does not disappear. I tried several different adfs to see if the files are corrupt but it keeps doing the same thing.
Does anyone know if there is a problem with Ishar 2 on A1200 that could result in this?
Does anyone know of a working file version?
Thanks!

Hi,
It looks like I'm on a dead end with my 4000 : I'm looking for some cards but they are not any more available anywhere.
So I'm thinking to buy a Mediator which still available but I got some questions about Amiga Driver : * Is any very common network card (like NE2000 or such) being usable ? * idem with common SCSI-II card ?
Less important but same questions for USB / I2C.
Thanks for your tips.

I'm in the market to get an amiga 1200 keyboard. Original, hopefully working. If not, that's fine too. I'm willing to swap out the membrane and make an attempt at fixing it.
I purchased the mistress 1200 FPGA to make an a1200-looking Mister emulator. I'm ok on the case and power supply, I just need to find a keyboard to make it complete. In the meantime, I'm planning to use a simple USB keyboard until I find one.
I am going to get the KA59 mechanical keyboard when it's available - but that doesn't seem possible until the end of the year.

Hi all,
I'm just putting the finishing touches on a WinUAE install, and almost ready to transfer it over to my Amiga. I'm having a slight issue with WHDLoad, in that I can't seem to get it to respect the SplashDelay or ConfigDelay timer in whdload.prefs.
Launching a game will open the WHDLoad splash window box, but it shows a Start button, no timer. I've tried altering the values etc, but I can only either get a start button or else launch....i can't seem to get a time delay working.
I do get a message that a whdload update is available, would it be worrh updating it, or is this a bug with newer versions? If so, is it possible to downgrade the WHDLoad version?
