I have Just got the Amiga Mini and like it. I already had a USB ready to go with WHDownload and the firmware and worked straight away. Everything seems to be working as it should.

I do have a question about the gamepad. Is it suppose to work with the C64 Mini? I tried it and the down button does not do anything. I put it back on the Amiga Mini and it is working. Does only the black gamepad work with the C64 Mini?

So after trying to do some more restoration on the A500 that I bought on eBay, I seem to have potentially found myself in a good position, however I’ve got a couple of other problems.

This time, the display, when I turn it on, is completely blank, nothing significant was coming up whatsoever. And (not sure if this counts as a problem) for some reason the Power light keeps flashing a brighter shade of green and then a darker shade of green.

For the display, I thought it had something to do with how it was trying to boot up, so I bought a Boot Selector and put it in the A500, and I got no changes from it. I tried seeing what other results came from the internet and I didn’t entirely get anything that would be able to help out because from what I know so far, I don’t have the materials to fix the potential problem such as having what appeared to be a soldering kit to fix the current or power through a resistor.

About the keyboard, I have not searched anything up about this problem just yet. The Power light seems to flash with a lighter green and then a darker green about every 500 milliseconds, and the cycle repeats. I don’t understand what it tries to signify, but I want to doubt saying that it has something to do with the motherboard because the keyboard is hooked up fine so far.

If anyone has any idea on what appears to be occurring, let me know what I could try to do which could fix it. I will also try to answer some questions that you may have in case I was not clear in explaining something. Thanks in advance!

A couple of years ago I made a small Boot Selector, I wanted to controll which bootscript/startup-sequence to boot by holding down (or not) a mouse button. I couldn't find a program that did what I wanted so I made one myself. I added some failsafe functions also, for example if you hold down left mouse button but you have no bootscript assigned to that button CBoot will ask you if you want to boot the Default startup or if you want to install a new bootscript. If you select a new one you will get a file requester and select the script you want to use and CBoot will assign that to the selected mouse button and boot it. I wanted CBoot to be completely transparent so the only time you notice it is if no bootscript is assigned to the mouse button.

I was informed that CBoot wasn't working properly on AmigaOS 3.2. After some investigation and testing I managed to locate and fix the problem. Also fixed so CBoot now makes sure that the bootscripts file flags is set properly.

My Amiga 500 (NTSC) has Kickstart 1.3 installed, how far up can Workbench go before it's not compatible?

I've seen various versions like 1.3, 1.3.1 and even 1.3.4 think. Can I use any of the newer versions or am I limited to WB v1.3?

Yes I realize WB 2.0 and higher probably don't work.

The Spy Who Loved Me was one of mine and my best mates go-to games for a while summer back in the early 90s. I've tried multiple roms and none work, tried on multiple emulators. It, always gives an error after the crack screens before loading any title screens.

Just wondered if anyone has a working rom out there? Not asking to share, just so I know I can keep searching for one that works!
