I've heard mixed opinions on whether or not it is safe to do so based on damage the MD controller caused to C64s.

Is there a definitive answer?

I bought this adapter intrigued by the good amount that this seller has sold, in addition to its excellent feedback and the one released regarding the product "Adapter VGA with VLR - vertical line remover".

It sells two types (three with the last compressed version)... one in the DB25-DB15 adapter cover while one extraordinarily developed in the original DB23 cover.

Attention because it uses an original DB23 female connector ... so not the classic DB25 cut!

But above all it does what it promises ... the famous and annoying vertical bars are no longer visible!

I'm having a weird issue where my A500 Mini seems to only read the first x number of games found on the USB drive I have plugged into it. I'm using a FAT32-formatted 8GB thumb drive, and I have 361 .LHA files loaded on it. When looking at it on the A500 Mini, it shows the first 287 or so, then doesn't show the rest.

I first noticed when looking through the list and everything from F-L was missing, alphabetically. I tried taking all the files off the USB drive and putting them back on, I tried reformatting the USB drive and starting again, and now I get everything from A-S, and again the last 90 or so files aren't shown.

The USB drive is nowhere near close to being full, and the number the A500 is managing to read seems pretty arbitrary. Has anyone seen this happen, or know why it's doing this?

Hi I've recently got a pistorm accelerator up and running in my amiga 500 and I must say it works very well. The problem is I want to add a cd drive to my amiga but unlike other solutions the pistorm dosent have any ide or scsi ports. Browsing ebay I saw the ide68k which looks like it could work assuming i get a cpu relocator or else it wouldnt fit in the case. Has anyone here used something like that with the pistorm or is the pistorm just not compatible with aditional hardware in the cpu socket?

Hi all, I have an Amiga 1000 with 1MB of memory in my care right now, and I was wondering how one could copy disk data (such as an application) from a modern machine so it could work on this machine? Looking to load it with demos and other interesting programs that show the strength of the system.

Alright, here's my problem:

In Devpac 3, it mostly works okay, but when I run a piece of software that just uses the intuition beep function, everything seems fine until you try to assemble again or quit, in which case it crashes.

If I run a program that only uses rts, no problem, which would seem to indicate that I'm not closing a library or cleaning up right or something, but I can't find anything I'm not de-activating after use.

I'm using address registers 0 1 and 6, data registers 0-3. I open the intuition library, use the function, return to exec library and close intuition.

What could be causing my problems?

I have had my A500 mini for a couple of weeks and it has been running fine. Even able to play games from external USB.

Went to turn it on today, but no image appears on screen, and shortly after hearing the startup logo sound, the unit just shuts itself down. red power light comes on briefly before it shuts down.

Tried holding the power button for a hard reset. Also tried different power supplies and removing all unnecessary peripherals when turning on. Also tried a different TV.

But always the same result!

Is there a way to fix this or will I just have to try and return it for an exchange?

If I could I would take the original game, not changing anything about the play style or GUI, but expand the league with extra seasons, you can play as other teams, with a more complex draft, pro players and online multiplayer leagues. Would this be possible? How much would it cost? Would you like to play it? I know there’s a new version - don’t like it. Original all the way.

I'm trying to complete my collection of all the Amiga wedge models & variants. It's really just about the case/badge variations officially released by Commodore. Not looking into the various board revisions, PAL/NTSC, keyboard layouts, etc. Oh and let's exclude all the special editions ( Stefanie Tücking, Tiger, Boing Ball, etc.). I just need the plain old beige models :)
