Pulled my Amiga 3000 desktop out of storage (was there for many years) and it is failing to boot from the hard drive or even recognize it. Opened the system up and checked power and SCSI cables which look good, when I give the system power the hard drive spins up but doesn't boot from it. I can hold both mouse buttons down and get to the startup menu but it only lists the two floppy drives. I am thinking there is a SCSI termination issue but not sure where to check on the motherboard and searching the web has not yielded clear results. Any ideas?

I'm building a 4000 from scratch, I have gathered all the pieces and I've soldered about half of the components.

I picked up a ZZ9000 to give me all the connectivity I need, here was me thinking I could just plug the ZZ9000 straight into the mainboard.

Apparently, you can't, there's a riser I need to use. 🙄

So I want to get a riser as cheaply as possible, that means a PCB and soldering it myself, it's a pretty big PCB and I would need to order something like 25 to get them at an economical price, I'm not sure if there is enough demand for a group buy?

Or did someone on the sub already buy heaps of PCBs and still have one lying around that I could buy?

Obviously nobody knows for sure, but curious if you think they'll release a maxi version with a working keyboard like they did (limited) with the c64? I'd buy that, but with the current price of the mini, it's a no go for me.

I've recently dusted off my A500 and added a PiStorm to it. It's working fairly well so far, with a couple of issues. I'm not sure if these are PiStorm-specific or not - but I'm hoping someone has seen this first one before.

Often after booting into Workbench the right mouse button either does nothing, or the top menu bar appears as expected but either disappears again immediately, or (even more annoying) disappears just as my mouse gets near it. A reboot or two seems to fix this but maybe someone knows what's causing it?

It's obviously frustrating as hell to have a menu bar that only appears when it feels like it :)

My second issue is the Pi losing networking as soon as RTG is enabled. I change screen resolutions to one of the Pi's HDMI settings, and poof, there goes the wifi until I power cycle the Amiga (and therefore the Pi).

Any clues much appreciated!
