Subject: Rescued this A1000 from the recyclers today. Where would I find Workbench/Kickstart disks to properly test it?
Subject: Found AMIGA Computer coverdisk magazine from the 90's
Subject: Just received my eBay bought A500 rev 5 motherboard. Only outputs in Black and White
Haven't touched an A500 since well before '90's when I got my A1200. I got the motherboard connected to a Sony Triniton PVM which I know can display color (tested with my A600) With this A500 board it only displays black and white (Tried it with a Sony PVM and a JVC PVM) Tried also with different cables, same result. I bought this board because it came recapped with quality caps. Any pointers to my issue?

It appears there’s been a fallout between Chris Edwards and Amigacoffin.
As I understand the situation, Chris created Pimiga but Amigacoffin is claiming copyright, has shut down Chris’ videos on YouTube and is selling MicroSD cards with Pimiga on their website.
Is anyone aware of any location for downloading Pimiga (2.0)?

I am looking to by an A1200 and found a listing for an acceptable price.
The seller writes that it does not have a turbo card but has 8MB extra Ram installed.
The accompanying image shows the 1200 to be as fast as a 2500, much faster than other Amiga 1200s I have seen on sale.
I am wondering, is this possible?

Hi everyone! I'm currently in the market for an Amiga 500. I never owned one, but I just think it's a wonderful piece of a computer, so I would like to buy it. I already know where and how to buy it, but I kinda don't know how to use it. What should I do when I buy it? To start a game I just need to put a floppy in the floppy drive or do I have to run it from the Workbench floppy somehow?
