Subject: After a few months, I recorded another longplay (the longest so far, including Oil Imperium...). As always (although I have an Amiga here, of course) played on the emulator and shamelessly cheated with Savestates (lazy me...)
Subject: Trying to identify a sci-fi shooter from my childhood
In the early 90s my brother and I played a sci-fi shooter on my uncle's Amiga 2000, but I only have vague memories of it. I'm hoping to identify it so I might be able to play it with my brother again. Here's what I can remember:
- You controlled a little armed soldier or two for two players
- It scrolled diagonally, so it looked 3D
- Either set in the future or on a massive spaceship
- I think you were shooting aliens.
I'm new so apologies if this kind of question isn't allowed on r/Amiga, or if it's an obvious question. I've tried googling multiple times and found nothing.

Subject: Trying to identify a turn-based game... planets? Like Worms?
As title - I remember being hooked on a game that randomly generated planets and then made you play as little spaceships stuck to them. You chose a weapon and would aim and shoot to destroy the other ships, and I think you blew a chunk out of the planets if you missed. (Which could be used as a tactic to get to them.) You could also opt to 'fly' to other areas of the screen by picking a direction and boosting, which was affected by gravitational pull. Can't in a lifetime think of what it was called, but it was awesome!

Subject: AMIGA 500 post but wont read disk and no disk light
So I found my dads old AMIGA 500 on the atic. I get it to boot up no problem. I get to the kickstarter image (I think its called that) and insert the floppy disk with the amiga 1.2 software, but nothing happens. I tried cleaning the disk reader today, no succes. Anything i can try?

![]() | I've been working on resurrecting this Amiga 1000 for just over a month, solve one minor problem, another crops up. I think I'm finally at the end, I am fairly certain I know exactly what is causing this yellow screen after inserting the Kickstart diskette that arrived today. [link] [comments] |
Subject: Amiga N00B: What monotor cable I need for an Amiga a1200 & Amiga 2002 Monitor?
A link to the cable over at AmigaKit.us would be perfect.
I have an Amiga a1200, and an Amiga 2002 monitor. I can not figure out what cable I need. The Amiga is PAL, but the monitor is NTSC, of that even matters.
I currently have been using an Amiga SCART cable on my Sony PVM monitor. So if there is a way to get that cable to work that would he fine as well.
