Anyone know of anyone who can repair a tank mouse? My original a1000 tank mouse no longer lives horizontally, and I think it’s because of the optical sensor. I heard they can be replaced repaired. Is that so?

I bought some discs for an Amiga A-500 I recently got. I needed the workbench (got 1.3.2) disc and got one untested with some other discs. The workbench disc will not load up, it will only briefly try to and return to the default screen. I got the 500A Tutorial disc which works perfectly fine. This leads me to believe the workbench disc is bad. Would I be right? Also where’s somewhere good to get a suitable workbench disc, or the download to make my own?

Know this might be a real long shot, but does anyone who used to collect Amiga Format remember a Bauhaus song cover that was on one of the free floppy disks?

My friend is trying to look for the song but he can't remember which Bauhaus song it was, who it was by or which AF issue the floppy was on.

Have tried YouTube but didn't have much luck as either the songs were too recent or created on more modern machines.

Amiga Forever upgrade

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but there doesn't seem to exist subreddits for Amiga Forever nor Cloanto. So.

I have bought the Lifetime Upgrade license for Amiga (and C64) forever a few years back when they started offering it. I've been away from all things Amiga for the better part of the last two years at least.

Today I fired up Amiga Forever and decided to update it. It told me that there is a new major version, and that I have the license for it. It also told me that there should have been an instructional email sent in March of 2021 on how to upgrade.

However, I have received no emails with keywords "amiga" nor "cloanto" after the end of 2019. So I'm kinda stuck here. And yes, I checked trash and junk (in:anywhere, gmail).

Is the email something that should not be seen by those that don't have a license (as in, contains direct links to licensed software or something), or is it just instructional on how to get it with your own license. In the latter case, please post the instructions here so I can follow them. And please, no pirated material, I do actually own the license.

This is the notification I get.
