Subject: Looking for two pieces of Amiga software I released and lost.
Many, many years ago I programmed and released two large projects on the Amiga.
One was the Warm and Fuzzy ANSI editor.
The other was "Awful Green Things From Outer Space" which was a game that played similar to food fight, but had multiple rooms and some other mechanics, but based on the Steve Jackson board game in terms of setting.
I uploaded them to a couple local BBSes but my old Amiga is long long dead, and I don't have a copy of either of these. These were SoCal bbses if that helps at all.
If anybody has these in their old files I would love to get a copy of them--Especially Awful Green Things. I spent more than a year making that and really regret that I didn't keep a copy when I switched to a PC.
The chances are low, but I figure it can't hurt to ask.

![]() | I have some VERY exciting news for the Amiga 1000 community. For the past three years I have been working with a talented team in the US and Germany trying to reverse-engineer the holiest of holy grail items for the A1K: The Rejuvenator, by Greg Tibbs (RIP). The Rejuvenator is a daughterboard replacement for A1Ks. Note: Your Amiga must be of the daughterboard-Amiga design in order to use this hardware. Generally this includes all NTSC/US Amigas and a few very early release A1Ks in UK/Europe. It provides most importantly 1 or 2MB Chip, KS ROM, RTC, hardware jumper for PAL/NTSC, and a video port for very obscure specific flicker fixers. I am extremely excited to announce that as of last night, we are now finally 100% successful. We did it! Team USA reverse engineered the entire board over the course of several months, and Team Germany read the 4 PAL chips to get us across the finish line. Those equations we'd been hunting have been burned to GALs and have been 100% verified they work! We (not me, but smart people with skills) have already assembled a couple of brand new clone boards. Our clone boards and freshly burned PALS>GALS chips 100% now work like the boards did back in 1990. It's like we used the Delorean, went back to the 1990 AmiExpo in NYC, and snatched these before heading back to 2021. :) The new clones are for some of the team members and for additional testing (and use!!). But rest assured we'll be making an announcement soon on what the future holds for the reborn "Rejuvenator 2". Note: Just sourcing the parts for these boards was not cheap... but they are brand new and a fraction of what they might fetch on Ebay as 30 year old versions. Finally, we all wish Greg Tibbs was here to see this day, but I've been in contact with the Tibbs family to share the good news and they are beyond pleased and excited to learn Greg's legacy will live on in the Amiga community for many more years to come. More soon. P.S. Some folks have asked me if the Rejuvenator can work with a Parceiro at the same time. That's precisely how my machine has been set up for a while now. It's my Daily Driver Amiga. Nice Greetings from a fairly new Reddit User! I just learned that my beloved Amiga 500 will have a relaunch as Amiga 500 Mini. Anyone nows if other (maxi) versions may also be expected, with a bigger sized keyboard. Would love to welcome a version which exactly fits the real historic A500.

I wanna transfer some modules to my Pimiga.
I also wanna add some wallpapers and remove some that are used as the wallpapers that automaticly load when you boot Pimiga...where are these located and what format do they have to be?

I've looked all up and down Amiga Forever's FAQ but can't find an answer to my question.
I bought an Amiga 500 but it did not come with a workbench floppy. I know i have licensed workbench with my AmigaForever plus edition but I have not been able to find instructions on exactly how to make a workbench floppy disk with it.
Does someone have instructions or a link to instructions on how to make a kickstart 1.3 boot floppy that works in an A500 with Amiga Forever? I do have plans on either USB conversion or CF conversion but right now i'm just working with the good ol floppy drive.
Thank You.

Subject: AMIGA CD32 - The Most Misunderstood Console Ever !? - A Commodore History Documentary
hi all!
i was just setting up cadaver) in winuae and after getting into the game i immediately remembered how tedious the controls are (i don't even know how to open my inventory or if there is such a thing and if not how to select and use an item). i was looking up if there maybe was a cd32 version (sometimes they had more than just one button controls) but it seems there was not.
so my question is, what's the best way to play it? is there a configuration that makes this more palatable (simply jumping is a pita when the button constantly opens the context menu). can i trick winuae into giving me a 2 button experience? or is there a better version (ms-dos? atari?)? i know the inventory in bitmap brothers games can be awkward (looking at you GODS)...
and after all that, is it worth it? getting it to run was fine but i don't think i can power through this fighting with the controls half of the time (the isometric perspective sure don't help). would you even recommend playing it in 2021 if you have no nostalgia for it besides watching your brother play it?
i was looking for a let's play on youtube but there doesn't seem to be a good or even complete one either...
anyways thanks for reading!

Subject: Amiga 1200 Development - Took the advice of a few peers on this one.. SAMBA PC SHARES, BBSing, Virtual Ram Galore, Wireless Internet 256bit SHA Crypto web browsing andf some HEAVILY MODDED BLIZZARD ACCELERATOR MODS!! - At home sick today, Woke up and put 2 hrs into this.
I just pulled my Amiga 500 from storage and experiencing the following issues:
1) My Modulator has no output but the mono output works
2) If I remove my A501 I don’t get the 1.3 insert disk screen. I get a blank screen with a mouse pointer in the upper left corner.
3) My floppy drive “clicks” as normal but only spins and reads for a brief second when I insert a floppy.
Of note:
I removed the floppy drive and greased the threaded rail (not sure of proper name).
Any tips/ starting point anyone can recommend?

Subject: Artsy version of fireplace scene in Eye of the Beholder II intro
![]() | I took the fireplace wide shot + face shot from the AGA intro of Eye of the Beholder II as a basis. Then I upscaled and softened via AI in several variants and made a composite image with the best parts of each variant. I added the face from the close-up for better refinement. My idea was to preserve the original "look and feel" of the image while getting rid of its pixelation. What do you think? [link] [comments] |
