I've found an Amiga 500 with mouse, joystick and also the box. The price is 100€ (118$) but the seller is open for offers. Should I pick it for 100 or I should try for less?

Subject: Did you ever use Fun School? Amigos: Everything Amiga 316
I recently acquired an A500 with revision 3 motherboard. I've ordered 8372a Fat Angus. Anyone have a link to any blog / video for the 1MB chip ram mod for this motherboard?
Thanks in advance

Subject: For those of you that use Workbench regularly AND play games, what is your display configuration?
One one hand, low resolution games at 224p -240p look fantastic on analog RGB or s-video CRTs at 15khz
On the other hand, higher resolution Workbench and general desktop operations look much better on VGA monitors or even better on flat panels without interlace modes.
Do you guys:
- Have separate displays for each use and plug/unplug for desktop vs gaming?
- Stick with one type or the other display as is?
- Use an external scaler like an OSSC and up or downscale as needed to one type of display?

The tower has a door which covers the externally facing drives, and a large fan at the front of the unit, however the tower does not have any LEDs for showing things like disk activity. You may also need to drill new holes for installing the A4000 floppy drive, as apparently by the default the existing holes are in the wrong location. In addition to installing the A4000's daughter board, an additional bus board is supplied called the Big Ethyl. This bus board contains 6 ISA slots as well as a video slot. The ISA slots are completely isolated from the Amiga, therefore they are not active. This also means that you cannot use a bus board are similar, they are intended to be used by ISA cards which only require an ISA slot for power, primarily things like TBC cards. The video slot is attached to the Amiga via ribbon cables. This allows you to move the device in your video slot, freeing up the inline Zorro slot. Subject: Looking for Amiga magazines recommendation, from 80ies and 90ies
Hey all, I grew up in a small european country which had its own computer and games magazines, unknown outside of it. Those left very strong memories, and I'm in a nostalgic period of life when I'd like to relive some of those feelings.
I was wondering if some of you could recommend me important magazines from your regions, that I could look up. If you know of a website that tries to preserve them, then that's even better.
For one reason or another, I'm most interested in american publications (due to an unhealthy romanticized idea of 80ies) - but of course all other publications are welcome.
Note - original texts are totally OK. I can read and understand (without problems) german, italian, french and plethora of slavic languages, plus (barely) enough of norwegian, swedish and spanish to get by.
Thank you.

Hi everyone,
I must admit I know nothing about Amiga, however I have recently bought a copy of Worms: The Directors Cut from my local charity shop. I am looking to sell this on, however I want to make sure the 3 disks work first, can anyone give me any advice on how to go about this or anyone I can contact to help me test this?
Any advice is much appreciated, Chris

Subject: Is this guy hiking some prices up here? Any Amiga game i see going for big money is this guy.
Hi All,
Brand new to the sub, apologies if this has been asked/answered as I couldn't find the info I need. I had an A500 back in the late '80's and want to relive that system. I've been offered an updated system with a few modern conveniences but I wanted to ask a few questions:
- The machine has a Gotek but the owner also suggested I get a CF card with IDE cable and card. Do I need that? I thought the Gotek would boot images, do I need Workbench to run from a separate device?
- He also said I need a TF536 with relocator 68030 to run WHDLoad...is that accurate? It adds a significant cost to the system.
- Finally, I'm a bit unclear about WHDLoad, Gotek, and how they all work together. Most of my Amiga files are ADF, do those work with WHDLoad? I've seen a ton of other formats online, like IPF, and found a WHDLoad pack that RetroPlay posted that are in LHA format, and some WHD packs that don't appear to be any format I recognize. Will all these work? Aren't Gotek and WHDLoad kinda doing the same thing? If I load my thumb drive with ADF files and something like FlashFloppy, what does WHDLoad provide that I don't have with the Gotek alone?
Thanks for any help...and sorry about all the questions :-)
