Subject: Dpaint V 25th anniversary edition manual from Ami64.com is crap!
I ordered this from Ami64.com. I wanted the whole package (CD-Rom, CD case, and manual) and paid a small fortune for such an old piece of software. The box arrived all beaten up. It was poorly packed. However, the biggest disappointment was the manual. It looked nothing like the original. In fact, it looked like someone just printed it on their home printer and it is missing a ton of pages. It goes from page 3 to page 50 and ends at 209 while the index mentions pages well above 300 or so.

Subject: Was Unaware Old Amigas Were A Collector's Item
I have a 2500 that's been sitting around a few decades.
The battery is not leaking. It has a Video Toaster, Digital Time Base Corrector, Sound Capture Card, and a removable 88MB hard drive cartridge system.
I honestly don't know the system specs off hand. Forgot what processor and how much RAM is in there. But, aside from that, what do you guys think is a fair price for it?

Subject: July 1985: The world premiere of the Amiga 1000, featuring Andy Warhol and Debbie Harry
Hi All, I have a couple of A1200s and A500s and A600s (not bragging I promise)
I would like to try and convert at least one of these to a modern case with external keyboard if possible.
I personally think the checkmate route is a bit expensive so does anyone have any kind of guide or even better experience in doing this?
I want to keep it as vanilla as possible WRT video, drives etc
I have searched and not found anything suitable yet.
TIA

Subject: Fly Harder or die trying! Amigos: Everything Amiga 308
Hi I'm hoping someone can help. I've read lots of guides but can't get what I want. I'm trying to write a small script that gets a file in the command line and turns the path and filename into a string.
I can capture the filename using .KEY filename but can't get the full file path.
Anybody know how this can be done? I can do it in PC dos but can't find the amiga dos equivalent

So, I acquired this Amiga 1000 recently. A few questions: It's Serial# XM 1171107. Any idea what the age / generation this might be?
It boots to the "Insert Kickstart" screen and the motherboard looks to be in good condition. With a good clean, it could looks pretty good.
Is there any hope of getting the keyboard to work? Is the A500 or A1200 a better hobbyist option?
Is anyone interested in purchasing this?

Subject: Is there a PS2 keyboard that is a replica of the A1000 keyboard?
I am looking for something as close as possible to an Amiga 1000 keyboard, but with PS2 connection.
That keyboard was quite unique in terms of layout, spent years and years using it and I would really love to get a keyboard in the same size and layout if possible; although could not find any. Got an A4000 without keyboard so I bought an adapter to use PS2 keyboards; which is why I am looking for a keyboard with PS2 connection.
Anyone have any hint about a PS2 keyboard as close as possible to the A1000 keyboard?
