Hi All

I’ve been using the app to map my controller in the main mister menu and then pressing enter to continue. When I turn off the mister and turn it back on again I have to remap as it has forgotten. Has anyone got any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Are there ever decent sales on Mister units. I want to start saving to get the $600 kit, but if there is a holiday sale or something I at least have a decent target to save some $$$.

If I want games to appear as they would on a real 4:3 CRT television while playing MiSTer FPGA on a 4:3 Dell 2007fp monitor, should I enable to "full screen" option that most of the cores have, or is the geometry already corrected by the MiSTer before it reaches the display?

Almost all cores have some amount of empty space on the sides of the screen, but I've been unable to find a definitive explanation of if this is because the cores cannot fully fill a 4:3 display because of scaling reasons, or if this is the unaltered internal resolution of the core that must then be stretched by enabling "full screen" to achieve the same stretch/fill as would occur on a real CRT display.

Any clarifying information is sincerely appreciated!

I'm just wondering if I'm on an older version of update_all script perhaps, or need to source some files manually. I noticed RType game in my Arcade cores list, which I think is a new edition from when I last had updated my MiSTer, but it loads the following alert then nothing;

games/mame/rtype.zip/rt_b-63.3f rt_b-b3.3f not found

Obviously missing a file, if this is just because it's not a public release yet like I know some games are beta, that's fine. But wondering if I need to source some these files and manually load to my HDD?

I tested some other games I've played before, like Commando, and they play fine still, so not worried that the recent update failed completion or anything serious.

My MiSTer has an analog IO board with one stick of ram installed? I have a 2nd ram stick to install.

I know it is not needed but want to future proof it.

Where do I install this 128 mb (v2.9) ram stick? This photo shows single ram stick plugged in near the top of the photo. Can I plug my 2nd ram stick into the slot near the bottom of the photo? Any advice or tips? Do I need to do anything else or just plug and play? Does this 2nd ram stick work with both IO boards? Once I plug it in how can I tell if it is working properly or not?

Trying to play some golden axe in 1440p 60hz output, but I get no signal on my c2 when I try to do this. Works fine in 1080p 60hz.

Anyone have any ideas?

Title. My current setup is the VGA port from my analog to SCART (using the one from Misteraddons) to BNC on my BVM but I was interested in trying the HDMI port and I've seen people have success and even report better colors. Problem is though, the market is flooded with these things at very variable price points so I'm not sure exactly what it is I'm looking for.

Would anyone with a hopefully a similar setup to mine be able to recommend a particular unit?

Hello all, I am using a gulikit kingkong pro 2, I’ve got it set to DualShock in the core. But I don’t seem to get any vibration from it? I tried looking for answers but couldn’t find any, could someone confirm if this is not currently supported for bluetooth controllers or is there a setting I am missing? Controller is set to xinput.

Just wondering if there is any benefit upgrading to a 5.0 dongle. Currently using a 4.0 one and it’s working fine for me at the moment. Just wondering if there is any reduction of latency using a 5.0 one?

I have a TP Link AC1300 Nano Says "Archer T3U Nano" on the box as well.

Was kind of hoping to get this working on MiSTer, if possible.

Plugged it in, tried to wifi script, says "No wlan0 interfact detected"

I tried editing the "wpa supplicant.conf" file with my country (CA), ssid, and password, renamed it without the underscore prefix, and still nothing.

I tried doing an "lsusb" command and it's recognized as "2357:012e TP-Link 802.11ac NIC"

Is there a way to install a driver manually or some way to troubleshoot this? I've seen other folks around the net say that TP Link 1300 is a reliable option but maybe the specific one I bought isn't compatible out of the gate?
