I've had my mister from the very beginning after also owning an original MiST. I have been writing my own core to write demo scene demos on. So. I would like to invite others to do the same as it is really fun. has any big European demo party had a Mister category?

Subject: Bluetooth controller loses connection on power cycle
I have 2 8Bitdo SN30 Pro Wireless Bluetooth controllers. They work really well once I get them paired. The problem is when I do a reset of the MiSTer to load a new core, I have to repair the controller. This requires that I have a keyboard attached and the WAF is very low. The USB adapter I am using is this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YDFZWT8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Obviously a separate wifi and bluetooth adapter would probably be better, but I don't want to go down that route if it's really a bluetooth issue. I can also get the 8bitdo usb adapter, but then I need one for each controller and I have, which is not ideal either because then I have 3 adapters sticking out of my MiSTer.
What is anyone else using and are you having good luck?

Subject: Conversion Rates and Shipping to Canada - Ouch!
Just jumped in and bought the main board from Terasic. Showed $210 USD, sounded reasonable.
Plus $45 USD shipping, plus $65 CDN duties.
Looking at $410 CDN so far after conversion and I haven't even gotten the USB, IO and SDRAM yet.
Was quoted $170 USD for the extra bits by a commonly recommended seller and that'll likely wash out to another $226 ish CDN.
All told I'm looking at $636-ish Canadian to get this thing set up. Then I'll have to look into controllers, haha.
I'm excited like hell but the conversion rates and shipping certainly sting today!
On the up side, Terasic had the unit shipped in 24 hours after order and it'll arrive in a few days. So at least I'll be playing quickly!

Subject: Ninja Spirit is Awesome on the MiSTer (YouTube video from my channel)
![]() | Hey guys, so glad I got this running. Very difficult but also a fun game to play. NOT available through update all yet. It needs to be added manually AFAIK. [link] [comments] |
Hello everyone! So, i've been playing a bit of Time Gal(it was a game that a was anticipating trying on the PSX since de MegaCD version graphics are borked) and i've been noticing that sometimes the game don't register my inputs. It happens even in sequences that i already memorized, so i'm pretty sure i'm doing the right thing. I tested my controllers inputs and they seen fine. Is it a problem of the PSX version? I'm using CHD files. I saw in another forum that for better performance I should use BIN CUE. I tested this and the problem persist. Any thoughts anyone?

Does anyone know if terasic extends its academic pricing to high school teachers, or if it is solely for college professors?

Subject: Any possibility that MiSTer gets HDR scanlines like Retrotink has done? Seems like a final step for lightweight, more accurate CRT simulation.

Subject: Tomb Raider 1 & 2 Gold have been ported to PlayStation
https://b122251.org/tr/games/index.html
A user from the TR forums, b122251, has meticulously ported Unfinished Business and The Golden Mask to PSX. Last night I tested them using DuckStation on my Xbox Series X and they worked flawlessly.
However, when I tried to run them on MiSTer FPGA's PlayStation core they both froze on black after selecting New Game.
Later tonight I will test them on real hardware using a PSIO ODE/SD card reader solution.
b122251 thinks they may attempt to take on TR3 Lost Artifact one day, which would be really cool but is said to be more challenging than the others due to the size of the maps. I hope they try!

![]() | Has anyone tried putting a Mister on an Egret II. Just wondering because it has a rotating screen… [link] [comments] |
After watching the pandamonium virtua cop documentary, I was tempted to get a sega stunner for my saturn but convinced myself that eventually a guncon 2 will work with the saturn core, and I can play PSX games in the meanwhile.
But oh man is it a disaster. Not only is the horizontal and vertical scaling wrong even after calibration, but the flash timing (at least on psx) is not synced up so dark areas of the screen cannot be hit.
For those who claim to be using the guncon2 without issues, what kind of setup do you have? Is your CRT brightness set so high that dark areas register shots? Do you just eyeball instead of aiming because you know your aim will warp at the edges? Or is this all just me and there’s some setup thing I am missing beyond tapping composite and calibrating per-core?

Subject: Final Fight AE - MiSTer step by step installation video tutorial
Looking for components for my build. I have my DE10 In hand. I have noticed that MiSTer Addons has been sold out of everything except the SDRAM for quite a while now. Suggestions on places to get the other components I would need? USB Hub, IO Board, Case, etc.
Also I'm confused on the different IO boards that mister addons offered, Digital vs Analog? Reading the description I think the digital would be the way to go?
