Subject: Trying out the MiSTer Plus kit for the MiSTer FPGA
Please help - does anyone have the similar issue that there is no sounds/music for the display mode? When I enter the game, for example the character selection all sounds and music come back, but no sound and music on the display mode of the games? Thanks a lot for any help!

Subject: Issues with Genesis Core After Running update_all
Last week after running update_all I had issues with the Genesis core defaulting to different regions. I seemed to have that solved, but after I ran update_all this morning I can't get most Genesis games to load at all regardless of what region is selected. Some games, such as Aero the Acrobat load just fine. Some games such as Sonic 1 just load to a blank screen.
I tried out the MegaCD core and that seems to work just fine.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Thanks!

Subject: Very interested in the product and idea mostly because I love shmups
I was looking at reviews for this and I gotta say, if this can handle shmups that are developed by cave or even just any shmup really this would be amazing. Is there a list of supported games for this? I know it has a multitude of other cores, but having a machine to play shmups on would be an absolute beast instead of running mame or shmuparc and getting mixed results.

Hope this isn't considered as too off-topic? I figured, some MiSTer uses must be using type stand I'm looking for.
I currently only use my MiSTer with VGA > SCART into my CRTs. But neither these tellies are easy to rotate, except one, which is pretty small 14".
I'm looking to also use an HDMI LED telly, and want to play consoles in horizontal, but also all the arcade cores designed for vertical mode, in vertical mode.
I cant drill into my walls, so need a floor stand type. Do any of you have a rotating floor stand for your telly? Most I see only swivel and tilt, but do not rotate offering play in Tate mode.
Few I have seen which advertise as rotating, are not done easily. As in you have to decide orientation before mounting the telly to it.
I want something I can flip, much like most monitors do. But something designed to mount a large sized telly, 37 to 47" type sized.
Just thought I'd ask here, on the chance someone currently has a similar setup as I want already, and enjoying MiSTer in horizontal and vertical modes easily.
Thanks

Subject: Why on earth would anyone buy this instead of an I/O board and use their image?
Hi
I was going to use an old laptop hard drive on the MiSTer. Did you need to upgrade your power supply first? I have an unpowered hard drive enclosure and the official USB hub from misteraddons. I run a WIFI dongle and wireless keyboard dongle on it (along with a controller). Thanks in advance for your help.

Subject: Has anyone gotten the Atari Video Touch Pad (one that came with Star Raiders) to work via SNAC with any of the Atari cores?
Apologies for asking what is surely the dumbest question you will read today, but - I bought one of the pre assembled sets from Mister Addons. Can I order ANY case, or will only the one that they sell fit?
