Subject: I modded my C64 Maxi to work as a USB keyboard for my MiSTer.
![]() | I know Ms. Pac-Man is in MISTer. How easy would it be to take the 4 or 5 variants of Crazy Otto that is in HBMame and get it running in MISTer? Not the "Crazy otto simulator", but the "Otto Project" revisions from Scott Lawrence. Sadly I work a lot of hours and take care of my disabled wife and my mom who is in a nursing home, so my free time is very limited. [link] [comments] |

Subject: Has anyone used a Brawler 64 + Hyperkin adapter with their MiSTer? Any issues?
FWIW, I know the MiSTer isn't going to emulate the N64 anytime soon, or ever. I just want something I can use with both my MiSTer and N64.

Hi friends.....just now found out about this device! Was wondering if getting the DE10 Nano kit from Amazon ($176) makes sense for someone that is wanting to join the mister crowd? Any other add ons that I should go ahead and get now or is the board capable as is?
Thanks!

Subject: Sord M5 Japanese Home Computer Core Released for MiSTer FPGA
Subject: Those of you not using the official USB hub, what are you using? 7+ ports?
Long story short, I feel I have a need for more than the 7 ports.
SNES wireless adapter
Genesis Wireless adapter
NES wireless adapter
8bitdo Arcade wireless adapter
USB powered iPad screen
Wifi Dongle
USB powered audio amp
Keyboard
Mouse
If you're wondering why I need all these things plugged in at once, I like to keep all my adapters integrated into my case so I can just grab any controller and go. It makes it feel so much more console like.

So I’ve just revived a USB board that I’d ordered ozmistermods. I connected it via the L pin connector, when I power it on the red led lights up on the board but none of the USB ports power any of my devices. I am still using the stock 2A de10 power supply which may be the source of the issue I also just did a clean install of on the micro sd but no changes. Any suggestions would be helpful, cheers.

Many fond memories from the 80's arcade at the mall. Aladdin's Castle to be exact. Been a tech tinkerer most of my life along with building arcade machines using PC's and various front ends. I am simply blown away by the difference between Mister and an emulator. It truly looks just like the original arcade machines. I have a Legends Ultimate and want to look into building a wall mounted more flat arcade machine to host Mister. Looking at using a flat panel arcade 19 inch LED panel and minimalistic 2 players control setup. This is mainly to conserve space in the den. Anyways.....thanks for the Devs of this project! Well done!

Hi friends. Got my mister and in the case. Looking to get a spare 4 amp PS and the one I am looking at has the one barrel connector instead of the barrel and USB power lead. One end of the case I have the micro USB jumper connecting the mister to the USB expansion. Can I use a PS with only the barrel connector plugged into the mister. Wasn't sure is the USB power was needed if I use the micro USB jumper to power it.

Subject: 2nd player dpad commands overriding 1st player dpad in only jotego cores. Rebinding buttons or switching controllers doesn't help. Any ideas?
Subject: Excellent cheat sheet to help load games and basic operations of computer cores on the MiSTer
Subject: Viewing terminal screens (updates) on component
Is anyone aware of a way to see the various terminal screens (such as the update scripts or INI config editor) when outputting video to a CRT via component? Trying to view any of those via my component-friendly INI profile results in the "if you see this, you need to enable the scaler" screen, as would be expected, but switching to scaler-enabled profiles results in a massively distorted and unusable video output. Is there a set of settings I could tweak that would make it display correctly on my CRT TV, so that I wouldn't have to switch to an HDMI monitor everytime I need to update?

I just received a preconfigured MiSTer, SD card, and VGA to component cable from MiSTer Addons and I’m having a display issue. It’s showing up as a purple tint over component.
Research told me it has to do with the Mister.ini configuration and if YPbPr is basically a 1 or 0. One of the Mister alts has the YPbPr enabled, but the method show on only video I could find to switch between the files doesn’t work(holding two of the face buttons). Any suggestions on switching between the files? Also, let me know if I’m way off base here
