Subject: *Still* having issues with mapping arcade cores
This is a repost from a few weeks ago, I'm sorry if this breaks any rules but I'm at my wits end and unable to easily play arcade cores on my MiSTer due to this issue.
***********
I searched the subreddit but couldn't find someone with this issue.
I have been completely unable to rebind any of my key mappings for the arcade cores. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but I'm sure it's user error.
I can go through the binding in the sub-menu for a particular core, but once I complete that it doesn't have any effect on the actual bindings. They seem to almost be completely random and differ between each game. I went through the bindings on the main menu as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I use an 8bitdo Arcade stick and the Retro-bit Sega Saturn controller.

Let's say that I have a CRT with component at the very most, but want to enjoy the benefits of RGB without modding the TV, does the MiSTER work nicely with an RGB2COMP? Assuming it does and given the standard MiSTER IO board has a VGA port, would the best setup look like this?
MiSTER VGA output --> VGA to SCART cable --> RGB2COMP --> Component cable --> CRT TV component input

Subject: Turbo functionality on the DaemonBite Arcade Controller
This doesn't apply to anyone who purchased their DaemonBite Arcade encoder from DaemonBite.com as I believe that already has Turbo enabled. But if you used his repository and programmed a Pro Micro (or similar microcontroller) yourself, you don't have the ability to enable Turbo on a button. Until now!
I forked the OG repository, and added Turbo functionality. If you want it, you need to clone my fork of the repo, and use that to program your micro controller. Also, you need to wire up to pin 7 on the pro micro (or whatever pin is PE6 if you're using a different microcontroller) to another button.
Once that's done, you just need to hold the Turbo set/unset button (what you wired to pin 7), and press the button you'd like to enable/disable Turbo for.

I wonder if I can get some advices - I downloaded the neogeo games, and if I choose AES from setting then every game has a white screen, if I change to MVS in the setting all I could do is a few testing for sounds, etc. Does anyone know what is the problem? Thanks for any advice and suggestions.

Is there an arcade core for the Irem M-92 arcade? I love the sprite work on In the Hunt, Gun Force I & II, and Lethal Thunder.

Subject: The Controller Saga: What's Best for the big 3
Hi everyone. I'm looking for controllers for the big 3. Looks like the 8bitdo stuff is best, but some are 2.4ghz while some are bluetooth. I heard they got a C&D at some point, and some products seem unavailable. It looks like I'll have to settle for added shoulders + sticks on the Nintendo stuff.
SEGA was easy; 8bitdo has the perfect pseudo-sega controller w/ 2.4ghz dongle. I have it, I love it; it's perfect. It seems Nintendo counterparts with the 2.4ghz adapter are gone, out of production.
SNES & NES are proving more difficult. They're also bluetooth only. I prefer the dongles for plug & play, no pairing.
So, am I right to say straying from 8bitdo is unwise? Are the above-linked models the only current productions? Does anyone feel that 2.4ghz/ dongle models are better than bluetooth models? I don't have (yet) the compatible MiSTer bluetooth module.
Who is running SEGA, NES, and SNES with reproduction controllers, and what has been your experience using bluetooth or dongles. Thanks.

Subject: The C64 has so much room for activities (MiSTer FPGA)
I have a problem and I hope anyone can help me. I bought this cable from Amazon and plan to use it for my CRT tv. But when I connect the cable to tv, I found the CRT tv has different cable/port color (yellow, white, etc) than the cable’s red, blue and green. I tried to connect the cable to my tv but it just didn’t work, no image and no sound. Does anyone know how to connect Mister’s vga to a CRT tv? From the review of the cable on Amazon, it seems someone successfully used this cable connected to a CRT tv. Thanks for your help a lot!

I was fiddling with my video out and the MiSTer ini settings and my audio out stopped working (in all cores). Didn’t do any updates or anything. I checked cables and tv and that’s not the issue. Any ideas? Is there a switch or something I might’ve bumped on the io board?
