Subject: Dissent matters: Press misreporting election court cases by not discussing dissents from judges who would have granted claims
Whether one is pro-Biden/Trump or anti-Biden/Trump, this is a useful list of Trump election court cases. It has links to the court records & filings. (Note, this article was last updated on Dec. 15, 2020, and does not have recent decisions or lawsuits filed after then, so is incomplete).
What is concerning is that the press has been blaring that all the cases were denied and are therefore completely "baseless." However, the court records show there were dissenting judges in several of the decisions. That means some of the arguments must have had some merit, but press is not offering us the legal debate. They are just announcing the loss, and openly inferring loss means no justifiable claim worth assessing. That would be the equivalent of never discussing the work of Justice Ginsburg, who was often in the dissent.
Her dissents are used widely as a direction to craft future successful challenges. What would have happened if none of her dissents were ever reported and the advocates who lost cases in front of the Supreme Court (for years) never had press disclosures about her substantive arguments? Just because the dissent in the 2020 election cases did not carry the outcome, does not mean the public does not need to know why the dissenting judges thought Trump should have won. Whether they are pro-Biden/Trump or anti-Biden/Trump, the public needs all the opinions, especially if there are to be efforts to improve election integrity.
As importantly, when the press says litigants' positions are "Krakens" and baseless, but refuse to report the dissents, that's propaganda. Minority reports further knowledge and investigation, making democracy more complete. We are a nation of laws, not men. Truth matters. How it is reported matters. Dissent must always matter.
Here are some cites from the article (which excludes several dissents, which may have happened after Dec. 15th when this article was last updated):
- PA: Observer access
Status: The suit was dismissed, but on Nov. 5 an appeals court judge said observers must have access within a distance of 6 feet. On Nov. 17, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court rejected the suit, by a vote of 5-2
- PA: Mail-in voter identification
On Nov. 12, a Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania ruled that Pennsylvania's secretary of state "lacked statutory authority" to change the deadline and ordered the disputed ballots not to be counted. It's not yet known how many ballots the ruling affects.
- WI: Trump seeks recount in two counties
Status: Both counties completed their recounts by Nov. 29, increasing Biden's margin of victory by 87 votes. Trump said he would sue to overturn the results. On Dec. 14, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled 4-3 against Trump, saying one of his arguments was without merit and that others were brought too late.
- NV: Later hours for voting locations
Status: Select polling places in Clark County were ordered to remain open until 8 p.m.

Subject: One Small Way to Fight Back or a Dangerous Liaison?: "App Alerts Users to Internet-of-Things Data Collection Around Them"
Can the government help citizens defend against the government? This report by Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science announces a tech tool against surveillance, saying
Billions of internet of things (IoT) devices — such as smart cameras, microphones and location trackers — hide in plain sight, monitoring everything from activities to our facial expressions. Fortunately, there's an app and corresponding digital infrastructure that helps users discover those devices, and learn about the data they collect and the privacy controls they offer.
The IoT Assistant app, developed by researchers in Carnegie Mellon University's CyLab, allows users to explore a map of IoT devices around them and learn about their data collection policies and practice
However, the project was also funded by DARPA and National Science Foundation, government sponsors. Can a government app that tracks devices be trusted for self-defense against government tracking?

I found a way to get round it though. Just tell people to search for themselves on 'Yandex'! This search engine isn't as censored as Google and you can find some pretty interesting things just by searching:
'Pfizer vaccine deaths'
'Covid isn't real'
'Face masks don't work'
'New World Order'
And so on. It's all there.
There is an ENORMOUS effort to censor the truth happening and cult owned 'Facebook' is one of the worst.
People ask for credible sources, I try and share links and Facebook blocks me from sharing said links. So it 'appears' that I'm just crazy with no sources. The sources are COUNTLESS and you can easily find them yourself on Yandex (at the moment at least)
It looks like URLs are easy to censor, so we should probably move to telling people to research and type in phrases to non censored search engines like Yandex
