Subject: time frame for recent movies to be available for acquisition
So I'm in the process of making my PLEX server and I'm trying to find Avarar 2 Way of Water to add it in to my current load out of files. I find some..camera recordings or very low quality files. Is there a time frame for 4k/ HQ rips to be available ?

Subject: Anyone got a good mobile friendly site with downloads?
Are there any movie apps or anything even? Haven’t had one before cos I’m usually on a PC.
Would be best to have one that allows downloading because my streaming is unreliable lately

Subject: Hachette v. Internet Archive: Publishers (Hachette, HarperCollins, Wiley, and Penguin Random House) are suing the Internet Archive over copyright infringement, threatening the existence of the Internet Archive's online library which provides access to millions of borrowable books/texts.
-copied and pasted from original posting, for some reason it wouldnt let me crosspost. I figured it would be important to this sub. I would assume that it would extend or eventually lead to other parts of archive.org
About the Internet Archive's library of books: The Internet Archive works in collaboration with a number of libraries to scan books and other works that are then made available for borrowing from the Internet Archive. Books that are in the public domain are freely downloadable (as of 2023 in the United States, copyrighted works from 1927 and earlier are in the public domain). Outside of this effort, there are other and unofficial sources and contributors of texts that are uploaded for others to download.
The total collection of texts in the "Books" collection can be searched here: https://archive.org/details/books
The total collection of texts on the Internet Archive can be searched here: https://archive.org/details/texts
What will be greatly affected by this lawsuit is the hosting of in-copyright books that are scanned by the Internet Archive in partnership with libraries and made available to Internet Archive users in a controlled format (The use of a borrowed book is restricted to reading it online, or through Adobe Digital Editions, which uses DRM to help prevent piracy, for offline reading, as borrowed books are not meant to be unlawfully reproduced.) and in very limited numbers of copies for borrowing; waitlists for a copy of a book are thus occasionally encountered by users as the library of the Internet Archive operates on the model of controlled digital lending (CDL). These books that you can borrow from the Internet Archive can also be searched here: https://archive.org/details/inlibrary

Subject: Can I move to Europe with my Hard-drives full of... well content? hah
I know I know, this is kinda stupid, but still it's better to be safe right?
I'm moving to Europe in the next few months and I'm taking my pc with me, and of course all of my data, got lots of stuff there, work, old pictures and... well lot's of pirated shit, everything really, movies, games, series and such.
Should I be worried? Is anyone going to be like "ohh you got like 4 completely different hard drives there, what's in them?" I'm already worried enough with how much can I even take, CAN I EVEN TAKE MY COMPUTER? And my cat is coming too, soo... yeeesh I have a lot in my head, I don't want to be caught up by security bc of some stupid movies I watched once (or never even).

Subject: All torrents stuck on "Downloading metadata", all trackers on "N/A no such host is known"
I have this issue with every torrent. I know it is not due to a lack of seeders because it does it for top trending torrents as well. I use qbitTorrent, all torrents are stuck at 0% Downloading metadata, and in the trackers tab I see that all trackers have a status of Not Working with message "N/A no such host is known". how to fix this ?

Any replies will be deeply appreciated. It's, for some reason, only giving me the option to export in H.264 (and of course all the other ones), but not H.265.
(I already have the HVEC Extension from the Microsoft Store, so that's not the issue)

So… I searched everywhere for a cracked version of V-Ray for Sketchup for Mac and I couldn’t find it. By this point I think it doesn’t exist. Still, if anyone knows anything about it I’d thank you
