Recently a certain high profile cracked game release caught my attention. It managed to be downloaded 200,000 times in just 10 hours. And that torrent summed 88 GB of data, so it's a notable amount of traffic that was downloaded in a short time span without needing a central server for it. That achievement brought tears to my eyes, you gotta love torrent.

Even for the super popular Korean movies like Parasite or Train to Busan the only torrents I can see inside Radarr are either with the "Korean" language tag or "Multi Language" with 0 seeders in subpar quality.

Is this some kind of bug in Radarr? I can't imagine there's no torrents for popular Korean movies with English language when they're available for streaming in English.

Fellow Captains, I'm in need of your wise advice.

I use Stremio with torrents add-ons to watch films and stuff. I used to be a torrent user who shared much more data than what was shared to me, but now I feel like a leech...

Do you guys know any program that stores the torrent files being downloaded by stremio and keep them on your computer for continual seeding.

On Android I have Advanced Downloader Manager, which automatically detects any torrent being downloaded and stores it in the phone, but It would be nice to have an alternative for Windows.

For what I found, I'm not the only one looking for an answer on Internet, so more people will benefit from knowing.

So Right now my workflow goes as this. Pirate everything on my Main PC and download it to a downloads folder on my NAS. I then move everything to its respective folder on my NAS and run tiny Media Manager. I then have a small Hp desktop PC that runs my Plex Media server, it pulls from my Nas, and transcodes, and that's where I stream from.

Download with qbitorrent on Main PC to Nas -> Manually sort Movies / Tv shows to their respective Folders on NAS-> Run TMM -> Stream from plex server pulling the data from NAS

I want to start using Sonaar and Radaar instead of tiny media manager, and from what I've seen it seems beneficial to just have it always running so it can download whatever when it is available. This wouldn't make sense for me on my Main desktop as I just don't want to have it running 24/7 and don't want to have my VPN on all the time.

My Media server is an Hp800 g4 with an i5 8500 and 16 GB of ram, and I'm not sure how well it will run VMs. I have a small home lab with 2 PowerEdge 620s, but I only run that as needed for school as I'm trying to just save on power.

So my question is. Would it hurt my streaming performance to just pirate everything on my media server? Would running Nord 24/7 hurt my streaming quality?

I'm fairly new to Plex, I just moved into my first house and previously just streamed everything off of my NAS locally due to poor internet. I now have spectrum and get about 300-400 Down, and 10-20 up. It's no fiber but it's what I have.

So, I just ripped a PS2 disc onto my laptop so I can emulate it via PCSX2 using Imgburn, and I was just curious that I've given the disc to my brother for his birthday present, and this aching feeling I have that the disc data may have been moved to the external hard drive, and not copied, so... I just need to know if I messed up by ripping the game disc onto my laptop and the game disc is now completely empty, or it should be fine and the game disc should be running like normal. Any ideas?

I'll TRY to keep it short: Downloaded The Amazing Spider-Man from DODI on 1337x.to (Link from the megathread), VriusTotal had a generic AV detect the setup as a trojan, Details on details tab seemed fine however, And community just had a comment that said "skyrim". MalwareBytes detected nothing in it, But Hitman Pro detected it as mal/generic-s. I quarantined just in case.

Following that, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool and Norton Power Eraser simply wouldn't work. I read online that someone's MalwareBytes was stopping KVRT, So i closed MB and tried again. Didn't work. Next, I opened MalwareBytes again and none of the real-time protections would turn on, they just kept loading, And when i tried to use Windows Defender, It said my TI manager (Or something like that, My pc is in Brazilian Portuguese, So TI could mean something different elsewhere) didn't let make changes there or something along those lines, But i don't remember exactly what it said as i panicked and turned off my pc, Then turned on again without connecting the ethernet cable (PC doesn't have wi-fi).

Saw nothing suspicious on startup programs or installed apps. Now i'm worried i have some covert-malware that's trying to stop my AVs from working.

I'm hoping that maybe Hitman Pro quarantining it somehow messed with the other AVs, Since anti-viruses tend to cause conflicts when two or more are running st the same time, And that the detection was a false positive, But better safe than sorry. Everything's working after the restart.

I would post this in a sub dedicated for malware, But i don't think saying i was downloading a pirated game would go over well if they asked what i was downloading.

So recently I downloaded PleX and wanted to use it for media streaming but I found out that it requires an activation fee. Is there a workaround to this because many people mentioned that PleX is free to use.

Even if it is paid, is it worth it to pay a certain amount of money to use?

Are there any good alternatives to this?

not that i don't like it, but I has never happened before. It even records my play time even though the game was pirated.

I've found subs for 2 and 3 but for 1 my search efforts have come up dry outside of official Japanese streaming services. Even the official English stream doesn't have JP subs. Does anyone know better subtitle sources or does it just not exist as a simple download for the first movie?
