Not to look a gift horse in the mouth but it's crazy to me that you can basically find every half decent indie game from before 2020 on here and then lately it's just straight up shovelware. What's more insane to me is that the guy apparently buys a lot of the games himself, and in the request thread he will tell people requesting good looking games that he has no intention of buying them but then will spend 100s on shovelware and unity asset flips. It's his money and I still appreciate the free games that do slip through but what a waste imo.

So, i just got a Fire TV Stick for my old TV. While i have some subscriptions to prime video and HBO, i want to side load some apps to help me get access to everything i can (by piranting). So, if you guys have a fire stick and also like to sail the high seas, help me with your experience. Everything goes, music, movies, series, anime, adblocks and etc.

I made some research prior and already have some ideas of what to install, but i'm not sure if these apps work fine on the device. So if someone has used these, please let me know if it works.

What tracker might hold such content?

I already have MAM, Z-Lib and IRC, but I'm wondering if there are any telegram servers that also have books. I remember there was one that replaced the trove and it often had books that weren't available elsewhere online. Is there anything like that for non-TTRPG related books?

I'm not sure if this is a good place to ask this, since I've looked through the subreddit and you guys mainly talk about torrenting and android apps, but I've tried getting a free vpn (as in using the free trial or just a free service) but they all suck and don't work with spotify. I've also tried using some of the music sites that you guys recommend like spotiflyer but virustotal keeps bitching to me about trojan viruses. But yeah, thats about it. I just want either a way to pirate a vpn or another way to listen to unreleased spotify music before it's 12am in my region.

I've been using this website to discover new metal albums to either buy or add to my Spotify playlists. It seems it has stopped adding new albums though, so using it to discover new bands/albums doesn't really work anymore.

I am wondering if there's any alternative websites, anything that could take the spot this website has basically. Even a point into the right direction is more than welcome!

New CDs cost upwards of $50, it's too late for a used copy to be delivered on time, and after visiting every public library, thrift shop, and record store within driving distance I've found the Switched-On Bach CD box set and three vinyl records that I can't use because I don't have a record player.

Anyways, I guess I need to learn to pirate things now. Wish me luck, and any help/advice is appreciated.

Noob question: Would the relative quality of a color movie compressed to XX gb be tantamount to a smaller file for a black and white movie because there's less data? Or does it simply not work that way?

Or put another way: is the scale of file size-to-quality about the same for color and black and white (assuming other variables are stable)?

There's an anime (Descendants of Darkness) that doesn't have the dub available via torrent at the max resolution (480p), only available in 360p for the dub. I was wondering if there was a publicly available tool for ripping amazon video so i can purchase it myself, rip it, and put it on my plex server. (or alternatively a service where i can pay to have those ripped files provided to me.)

Trying to watch the British version of the TV show Ghost but seemingly none of the sites I use have that show

Specifically I'm looking for some kind of USB/HDMI device that acts as a DVD player, except instead of DVDs I can plug it into my PC and put video files on it, and then move it to a TV. Bonus points if it has a remote or a control app.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I figured this is the kind of community that would use that kind of peripheral.
