I downloaded a video software from a link on the Megathread. In the installation instructions, it's telling me to shut down my net, run that exe to install said program, then move files from crack folder and run a .exe called "Hosts Patcher".

This is where I'm getting a little iffy, is it normal for programs similar to this to ask you to run a .exe without internet? Am I just being too paranoid? I'm having some difficulties finding a good version.

I saw a list somewhere in here about which uploaders to stay away from.

Hi, I've been using plex for a while to stream stuff from my pc to my tv and kind of wanted to let my friend also have access to my plex server, but i wanted to know if it's safe to enable plex remote access and stream pirated content through plex to someone else's house. Also, do you have to pay for any of the remote access stuff? i remember paying some one time access thing for my phone but i can't remember how all that works.

I've about 1800 hours of videos mainly containing movies and web series and it would take me at least 5 years at the speed of 1 hour per day on average. My understanding is that these toys are just nfc chips similar to amiibo.
