I use SpotX since it has a lot of benefits but I want to look for something similar for Tidal in Windows. Does anyone know something similar?

What's your preferred method for bypassing the download limit?

i just downloaded a steam game from nyaa with crack file which seems to be a steam emu but it also has an altered game.exe file. its not goldberg and when i crack the game and run it windows firewall pops up asking whether i would like the exe to run in private and public networks. i am a little worried it might be malware but its from a reputable public tracker. is it unusual to have .exe files in the crack files? malwarebytes didnt pick up anything from the crack, the clean game folder and the zip file either. generally what rules should be observed to make sure the cracks are safe? i sometimes download japanese vn isos which require cracks from jpn sites which i cannot verify safety/

Found out that Steam keys are no longer visible. does this still work?

As title I discovered with much disappointment that now on piratebay are uploaded many releases with viruses. Today I installed Adobe reader to my brother's pc as his own request but I got some viruses. I was able to remove everything but I am disappointed, it's not possible that now piratebay is full of viruses. If was only one release it would be OK but no there are thousands of them with same size for example, or preactivated with some 700 MB exes that are just malwares. The situation is unacceptable.

Adobe's student plan is literally half of their normal one. Wondering if there is a way of getting a .edu email ID without going to college/applying for classes. Don't mind even paying for one if it works and is decently priced.

As the title says, seems the release doesn't use the APPDATA folder (Windows) for configs and saves. Discovered this by accident when updating my nvidia drivers and for some reason the app doesn't detect the settings.

To preface, I know very little about this kind of tech so please bear with my bumpkin-level explanation of my question.

I am trying to save videos from a website that I will eventually not have access to; it's a paid service and my subscription will end but I want to save the instructional videos I currently have access to. The website uses .ts files, multiple for 1 video in a playlist. I was able to find the main M3U8 file that plays all of the individual .ts parts, and can now open that in VLC media player just fine to watch the full video.

My question is, since this content exists behind a paywall, will this M3U8 file eventually not work (when my subscription ends)? And if so, is there something I can do to always be able to play the file in VLC or other? As I understand the M3U8 file is basically a link, so does this link eventually break?

Any advice is much appreciated. This is content I paid a lot of money for and really want to be able to look back at it as needed. Thanks in advance!
