I like a Spotify exclusive podcast but I want to listen to it in AntennaPods.

Mainly I've been using Zoro but lately I just realized and noticed how bad the quality is. Not just on there, but every other site. I keep toggling it to 1080p but every time, it's always really mid. Maybe this is just me being a stupid noob, but literally the only 1080p full 4k amazing quality there is, it's only on Crunchyroll. I was pretty deeply involved in the scene many years ago. Mainly as a racer/courier and as supplier in the Movie and Music scenes, but I spent a lot of my time hanging out in that 'world' in general.

This was almost 20 years ago and I barely pirate anything nowadays, but I was feeling nostalgic about it and wondered how things are nowadays. I remember in the last few years I was active, P2P was rising fast and there was a lot of disdain towards it. Especially once P2P groups started beating scene groups to certain high profile content.

Is the scene still going strong, or has P2P all but replaced it?

If it's still out there, and any of you here are involved: Is it still operating the same way? I would assume FTP topsites won't have been replaced? (m)IRC used to be the main hub if you will, where people would communicate and where the racing and pre bots where coded. Is that still the case or has this been replaced by something like Discord? How about the protocol 'conventions' etc?

Would love to hear from any oldtimers who are still active, if any of you are willing to talk about it on some burner ofcourse

Similar to how people don't want ISPs choosing which sites they can and can't connect to, Sony is trying to attempt to censor the web on a mass scale by attacking a non-profit DNS service.

DNS services only translate addresses, they have nothing to do in piracy, but Sony is trying to make the case that they do as they resolve IP addresses of sites that do host pirated material.

They could have launched a case against Cloudflare, Google or OpenDNS, but are deciding to harass an independent service because they don't have the capital.

If Sony wins in court, this could/will affect ALL DNS servers by forcing them to block what Sony and other companies deem appropriate.

I want to know if people with linux can see any movie in that site.

Because i cant... with Windows i can see the movies, also with Android... but try two Distros from Linux (Arch based) and cant see any movie. I use a user agent extension but anyway cant see.

Maybe i need to install nothing but i think that it is weird.

And of course, i cant ask about this kind of site in linux forums... (i already did and they close the post).
