I definitely do not want to see TV Shows and Movies through illegitimate means. We must support the studios and producers that bring us this great content.

As the title suggests. All my old music (downloaded in ~2015 iirc) no longer plays on my new Apple device. I recently added my old music to my brand new iPhone and all the music would play fine in iTunes on my PC (and my iPod Touch Gen5), but everything changed when I went to play it on my phone itself. Now a ton of my music says it's not available in my region. Should I go back in iTunes and modify the song info so it isn't recognized as like. Official audio tracks? I spent two hours last night rewriting all the Song Info for each song (ie: appropriately labeling the artist and even grabbing some album art). I will try and do that tonight when I get home from work, but that really made my commute to work a bummer when I couldn't play any of my favorite songs. Does anyone have a workaround they know of or something? Willing to download reputable third-party apps.

Is there a way to measure how prevalent BitTorrent movie piracy year over year? I'm curious what effect the availability of Netflix, Disney+ etc has had on how many people choose to engage in BitTorrent movie piracy.

I am looking for a legit archive where I can download them or a pirated source where I can find old TV shows from 70s and 80s.

For example Matlock is not on rarbg nor torrentgalaxy, it had diagnosis murder but may not DL due to zero seeds.

Downloading

Follow my steps for a safe and easy way to download them games. (Beginner friendly)

1. Download a Browser that allows Extensions. ( I use Chrome )

( Extensions on chrome can be found on top right corner. It looks like a puzzle piece)

1. Go to the webstore (search for 'chrome web store' in google)

2. Search and add the following extensions from the webstore:

• Adblock
• Adblock plus
• ublock origin
• Touch VPN

1. Turn all of these Extensions ON

2. For using Touch VPN: just click on the extension and click connect

Always use the VPN when pirating games, no matter what.

1. Then Download 'qBittorrent' and install it.

   FOR TORRENT

• Turn on the VPN extension
• Go to the site 1337x (go to the one ending with ' .to ' )
• Search for the game you want.
• You might find a lot of links to the game you want, so do this:

1. Check the link with the highest number of seeders (green colored numbers) (Easy way)
2. If you are on a laptop use the one from DODI Repacks (Personally i use this because the installation is faster and less installation errors)
3. If you have slow or limited internet use the one from Fitgirl Repacks ( Will take a longer time to install)
4. After clicking on the link click on the 'magnet download' (green colored), (a pop up should come up saying "open qbittorrent" , click on that).
   
5. The download will automatically start. Qbittorrent will ask where you want to download
   the files, then choose a drive for the installation.
6. Also while choosing the drive, on the right side you can untick the boxes of languages of the game that you dont need. (This will make the size smaller. But always keep the english one)
7. Then download it.

Installing

1. Firstly you need to download:
   Visual C++ Redistrabutables: ( search google for 'VC Redistributables AIO' then download the
   first one that comes up, then install it)
   Direct X : ( search for direct x download then download it) You must
   download and install these to avoid errors

2. After downloading the games check your downloaded files to see if it is an 'iso' or 'repack'

For .iso files

Just open the .iso file by double clicking it. (you don't need any app, as windows will recognize it
as a drive) Then run the setup.

For 'Repacks' (like fitgirl or dodi)

Just open the folder from the downloaded location and run the setup file.

1. After installing the game or while you are installing the game, sometimes there might be errors.

Sometimes those errors can be fixed by just restarting the pc.

But if the error shows 'CRC Mismatch' (commonly found in Fitgirl Repacks). In most cases you
might have to redownload the entire game OR rechecking the torrent can fix the problem.

So Avoid Fitgirl repacks if you are a Beginner because it can also get stuck while installing.

1. After installing run the game as Administrator and Enjoy.

So that's pretty much it. Using this guide you can download the games you want. Same steps from the download section can be also be used to download movies and TV shows from 1337x

This is by far the easiest way to download and install a game in my opinion.

Basically I use IPTV Smarters pro viewer on both my desktop PC and on a firestick connected to my TV.

On the TV app the streams work fine for a couple of minutes then stop and just show buffering wheel.

Now I know it’s nothing to do with the service as it works flawlessly on pc, also it can’t be download speed or bandwidth as other streaming platforms (legal) work fine on the firestick.

Both firestick and Pc use the same VPN.

Any ideas anyone?

I signed up for a subscription with an audiobook app (called ‘Audiobooks’) but there’s really only one book I wanted to listen to and I have it downloaded to the app, so I’m just wondering, when I cancel my account, if there’s a way to keep just that app offline so it doesn’t receive notice that I’ve cancelled and will still let me play the book I’ve downloaded until I finish it?

Also 320GB on an 18GB torrent download. Yep, burned through half my monthly 1TB in a single day, WOOPS!

What is going on? When downloading torrents, I often see the progress bar move forward and backwards a lot. I noticed in the 'properties' of a recent download that I had downloaded 435.6 GB of corrupt data over the course of a 22.04 GB torrent download.

It can't be my disc, as I had similar issues on another computer running the same software. I'm using Transmission on Ubuntu 22.04 and connecting through NordVPN. And my ISP is Starlink, unfortunately the only internet I can get.

Any idea what's causing this? It's... fairly inefficient, to say the least. At worst, I feel like I'm being data farmed or something (I obviously know very little about how all this works haha).

If I'm streaming a movie from Plex, most of the movies do not have subtitles. If I search for the subtitles while the movie is playing on Plex, is there a risk without a VPN?

Example: movie is given to me and placed in my Plex folder. I play it on my big screen TV. I click search for subtitles, and Plex pulls the SRT file.

Is there a risk to searching subtitles?

I bought a couple broken iPads on Kijiji recently and managed to get one working. Unfortunately, it is 'supervised and managed' by some organization I've never heard of.

Is here any way to reset this iPad to factory settings? I don't have the ability to transfer or 'prepare for new ipad' through the settings.
