So I was looking for a textbook and found it on archive.org and eventually came across this guide on how to download and unlock them. The two textbooks I want are 1-hour borrows specifically. This post is 2 years old and I am on a MacBook which can be more "complicated". I believe I followed all the steps and then right at the end when I open the files from adobe onto calibre, they download and give me back full blank white pdfs on every page.

Has anyone done this trick in recent times? Should I try downloading older versions of the two required softwares? Or is there a better trick to get the files? Or if someone wants to do it for me lol. I just don't want to spend $100 on a textbook or $60 on an ebook.

I am unemployed and struggle with a severe mental disorder. I used someone's Netflix account to watch movies, but with the crackdown on password sharing, I won't be able to afford my own account.

My country (which I prefer not to name) doesn't have any laws against digital piracy, or none that I can find online. I checked on the world map on whether it's legal or illegal, and it's greyed out (so undefined?)

Hey guys, just wanted to know which WhatsApp mod does the community considers as the safest.

I'm looking to learn a new peace of software that uses Ilok for its licensing. it does have a month trial. But it requires a payment card, and it automatically charges you after the first free month.

I don't torrent all that often, but when I do I try to use my phone's mobile data. Two months ago I used the wifi and got internet shut off for a couple days because of DMCA notices. Called my ISP and they just turned it back on. However, last night I forgot I was connected to the wifi and downloaded a pretty popular show from a company that, in the past, has issued notices to my isp. How likely am I to get another notice?

1. The torrent was only about 6 hours old at the time.
2. I stopped seeding immediately upon completion and deleted the file once I noticed I was accidentally using the wifi.

3. This was 24 hours ago and I haven't heard anything yet. Also downloaded at like 3 am, which i Imagine is a low traffic time.

4. How long typically would it take for my ISP to be notified?

Are any of these factors relevant? Or has my IP address already been logged and saved and is now viewable by any interested parties?

If yes, is there a download limit and is the host up consistently?

I encountered this issue that even though I download Youtube videos in 4k, the audio quality always suffers.

If you record with Audacity the sound of a Youtube video, you can get decent quality (like 18khz or even 20khz, still a bit lossy though), but when I download the exact same video with sound then the sound frequencies are being cut at 16khz.

Is there a downloader which doesn't make the sound or video lossy?

I upgraded my OS. Decided to reinstall all the Forza games in the Microsoft Store. First I kept getting "Sorry something happened on our side" errors. Chalked it up to a Permissions issue. Decided to enable the Windows Admin account and just use it. That fixed the problem, except for one Forza game. I found a copy on FG's repacks.

The funny thing is; this wasn't just a second copy of the game with a crack. The crack actually just enabled me to launch MY OWN ORIGINAL GAME!

Then I went to reinstall all my Oculus titles. Lone Echo II (a must play vr title btw) Just refuses to download and install?!?!

Guess what happens next!

adobe, idm, and many other apps give 7 day to 30 day trial.

Without like formatting pc, is there a way to delete some files to use the trial again? If yes, which files should be deleted so the app does not detect any previous installations?
