Subject: I found a working website for downloading steam workshop content
For a while, steam has been cracking down on them and for that reason a lot of them doesn't work.
However, the website https://ggntw.com/steam, actually works, and i've used it to download a whole bunch of wallpapers for wallpaper engine (since i'm using a non-steam version of wallpaper engine after my steam account was lost)
Just thought i'd share incase any others have been looking for a way to download steam workshop content without having to use steam, or for downloading mods for pirated/cracked games
Subject: How to download videos from kemonoparty?
When i click on "download video", i get a page with what seems to be some kind of code for video, it says:
"#EXTM3U #EXT-X-VERSION:5 #EXT-X-INDEPENDENT-SEGMENTS #EXT-X-STREAM-INF:BANDWIDTH=2516370,AVERAGE-BANDWIDTH=2516370,CODECS="mp4a....... (more and more lines of the same thing)"
What that means? Is there some way to download these videos?

Subject: I got Xbox Game Pass for PC for a month and I don't think I will use it....
I got an Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription for a month and I'm not sure what to do with it. Many games included are already cracked, some even online (and we all know that great site.) For example: Minecraft: Bedrock edition.
Are there any permanent perks on it? For example, when I got my ubisoft + free subscription for a month, the Trackmania Club Access for 3 years was involved, which upon activating, I got PERMANENT PERKS that you receive from buying any subscription for Trackmania 2020 (advanced track creator forever etc...) I also keep the club access for, guess what, 3 years. That is the only "permanent perk" I got from it, other than ubisoft points for playing games....
P.S: I activated this Trackmania 2020 3 Year Club Access for an extra, not used account.
I'm pretty sure there is no such thing for the xbox game pass, but I figured I would still rather ask. One thing that came to mind is if I install the JAVA Minecraft edition, do I keep the skin after I play Warez? The thought is to play minecraft java edition legitimately, make myself a skin, and once the subscription is over, use a warez launcher and type my username in it. Will the skin stay?
Anyways, what games do you recommend that I should try? Most preferably games that cannot be pirated, or if they are, they are only offline. In other words, games that I will have better experience with the subscription rather than pirated. (Wrong example - Minecraft: Bedrock edition. Forza Horizon 4 and 5 - all of these games are online cracked with cross platform. Forza is actually better cracked because of DLCs - only standard editions are available in the subscription. You also have automatic updates with minecraft bedrock edition due to the trail version and the online crack being generic - no advantage on playing over subscription as far as I'm concerned.)
If I decide to share the account (I activated this onto a newly made, secondary account) - any security tips? I already disabled the auto-renew and removed my payment method (apparently adding a dull PayPal account did not do the trick, so I added my phone number as a payment method, which I then removed - far better than adding my CC, lol. But my phone number is still visible, but requires a code in order to re-activate). There are far too many settings one could change, even changing the e-mail, I don't exactly want to lose this account, but share it with someone that might use this more than I would.
Unfortunately, Xbox Game Pass for PC does not support cloud streaming... I know someone that could use this for cloud streaming to play cross-platform games, but yeah, cloud streaming only for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Thank you for your answers.
Have a nice day.

Subject: How do I use an activator to crack a licensed program?
I am trying to install Rhinoceros v7.9, and the torrent I've downloaded comes with a setup.exe and activator.exe. When I use the setup, it installs fine and brings me to the license menu. However, when I use the activator, it doesn't work. It just shows me a license key and says "Validation success" and I still cannot use the program, when I boot it up it loads up the program, then shuts down saying it needs a license to run.
I usually just download movies so this is new and I wanna know if I'm doing anything wrong, if anyone can help me out it'd be much appreciated.

Subject: What's the deal with PROPER's for 2160p remuxes from FGT?
So i've noticed a massive influx of PROPER releases from FGT, my question is what exactly is the PROPER release fixing here?, if its a remux then the video should be untouched right?, so is this just additional audio/subtitles or some other guff, or is something more serious (corruption in video).

Subject: List of shows in DV in mp4 format
So far the only show I can see that has DV and uses mp4 is Andor. I use this to watch DV videos on my laptop. The only capable DV player on windows that I know is the built-in Microsoft Film and TV app and that can only use the mp4 DV versions.
Unfortunately most DV content seems to be in mkv. So just wanted to find out from the Reddit community about other DV sources in the Mp4 format. Appreciate any suggestions :)

Subject: can I copy audiobooks in Libby or Hoopla app
As the title suggests, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to copy or even find, the download audiobook files that I borrowed using Hoopla or Libby. I've been doing this with the downloaded mp3 files within the overdrive app, I can find them in my storage folder, and just copy the files to another folder, to listen to at my leisure. But I can't seem to do so with Libby or Hoopla. And overdrive will be discontinued early next year. And I'm already panicking. 🙈

Subject: What are the challenges involved in redistributing live video of a televised event using a peer-to-peer protocol?
Suppose there is a big upcoming televised team sports event that is surrounded by controversy such that lots of people want to watch the event but don't want to financially support the broadcasters in the form of viewing the broadcasted advertising and other controversial content. Ideally, a receiver of the broadcast could blank out the undesirable parts and then redistribute their edited version to other peers wanting to watch the event, and then those peers redistribute the copy to other peers, etc. a la bittorrent except live. Does something like this exist? Has it been attempted before?
Some problems I thought of...
Lots of internet connections have asymmetric speeds. Many folks interested in participating can certainly download an HD stream, but the size of their upload pipe may not allow them to upload even one, and that could be bad because the entire operation depends on the peers ability to send their copy to somebody else at the same rate the bits come in. They might have to compromise on the quality of the stream or otherwise the stream will be delayed for some peers and then the entire thing reverts to plain bittorrent.
If the scheme is popular, the internet infrastructure, not optimized for this kind of traffic, may become overloaded.
ISPs may be pressured to shut it down.
Legal scare tactics and credible legal threats can put it to a halt
They can possibly geographically locate the original seeder using a canary trap: broadcast slightly different versions, watch the seeded stream, and use binary search to narrow down the location.
So those are some problems. But on the positive side, merely attempting this would not just be piracy - it could be achieving good political aims and have a social impact.
