I always mean to upgrade mine from 16 to 32, and then I always forget to.
Subject: Basic vul scan for this BBS server
FYI, i ran a basic system vul scan for you from an outsider perspective. If the attachment actually works, check it out. I can run some more in-depth stuff if you want but looking good so far except change from telnet to ssh for the bbs cli! I don't want someone logging in as me and sending dick pics to everyone; I want to do that myself.

Yes. Something is wrong with uploads. I don't know what. At Ig said he knows - but that it will be fixed in a later version - at least, that is what I *read* what he was saying as.
I could be wrong.
I often am, on matters of this type. It is why I moved into IT management, instead of hands on datacenter work.
My 6-year-old gaming laptop has only slowed down five times since I bought it because I got 32GB RAM right off the bat. You'll be playing much harder on your than I do on mine, of course. Congratulations. That is a big deal. And I guess I better finally get the Honey plugin.
Grandma decided to splurge on our 10-year-old and get him the fancy LEGO robotics kit for his 11th birthday! I am so excited for him! We also bought him books on programming video games. I think he's going to have a marvelous STEM career. This is definitely helping me decide to buy myself a raspberry pi. I need a nicer monitor. Payday is forever away, grrr...

Ask me for things around Christmastime. Or your Birthday.

The nice thing about the Pi is that it is $35. You can probably score one used with a case and power supply for $40.
My birthday was a great excuse to finally own an axe. I'm excited to continue getting things I wouldn't get for myself.
A guitar, or are you having an issue with trees?
A chopping axe.
I do play guitar, though. I bought a $1000 stratocaster off reverb.com from a little old man who rebuilds guitars in the middle of nowhere, Pennsylvania. It plays like a dream and the action is so light and accurate that my 10-year-old is teaching himself to play. So far his only accomplishment is the Star Wars theme, but I bet he'd love to add Luke's Theme and the Imperial March to his list.
I'm glad people are still buying MegaDoomDestroyers. They make secondhand equipment inexpensive for people like me :)

I bought you an axe for your birthday when you were in Utah. Did you lose it?
Interestingly, some of the core commands from *nix have been ported to AmigaOS - and I find that a lot more comfortable than AmigaOS, at this stage in the game. I wish I could have the whole suite of GNU tools in the C: drawer.

You could probably write something to do those things as a script but that would be a really niche project lol
I'm sure you can. It probably already has been done. I've grown better at AmigaDos commands since this post. I was just rusty from a long time away.
In either case - the problem with CLI is that it is powerful, but you've got to know what you can do and how to do it before you can know what you can do and how to do it.

AmigaOS should have *been* unix in the first place. They could have easily cracked into the workstation market, which was expensive at the time.
