Subject: Advise on getting mister running with ipac2 controller
I wonder if someone could offer some advice, ive moved my mister into my arcade cabinet with an ipac 2 controller, i have everything working, i can map buttons but heres the problem, when i go into a core and try to remap the buttons, the buttons dont work.
It allows me to change them and registers a change, but they dont work in game when i press anything.
When i load the mister up and remap, it shows my device as keyboard for the ipac, so im puzzled as to whats going on.

Are the connectors that come on the IO board and the one come with the NF-A4x10 5V the same?
I'm still waiting on my case to arrive (it's been sitting in the same Post Office since December 13th, thanks USPS!), but the included one is slightly noisier than I'd like with the board naked, and situated differently than if I had a case, but I'd like something slightly quieter.

I tried this recent version but the game won't launch anymore despite using the same international rom. I just replaced the new rbf file on the root/arcade/core folder, the 2 mra on the root//arcade one and the rom is still on the root/games/mame
Is there something else I should be doing?, Btw this is the first time I try updating this core, beta 4 ran normally after running the retrodriven script

I'm struggling to find a way to play tapper on a CRT in its original resolution on a real CRT monitor. Does anyone have any first hand experience with the mister core and analog RGBs output? Does it run at the proper 480i resolution?

I decided to try my hand at building my own SNES USB adapter using the "guide" at:
https://github.com/MickGyver/DaemonBite-Retro-Controllers-USB/tree/master/SNESControllersUSB
However, I've ran into a few issues:
1) I'm having trouble identifying which of the wires is which. I think I'll just have to crack open the other end of the extension cable and figure that part out myself.
2) I'm not super sure how to interpret the image at the link above, or at least not the DATA wire portion. The SNES seems to only have one DATA wire, but the image shows 4 different DATA spots (DATA1, DATA2, etc). Can you just pick one, or what are you supposed to do here?
Has anyone else decided to tackle this themselves? If so, any tips?

Subject: Anybody recognize this loose wire spring? MiSTer IO board
Subject: Running update_all.sh creates _Utilities _Console etc. folders, normal update.sh does not
Anybody have any idea why this is? I have my update.ini set to not make these folders, and not download the utilities, computer cores, etc. All I want is an arcade folder, and all of the consoles in the root. And that's exactly what I get when I run update.sh, and it's what I got when using the RetroDriven stuff before he stopped updating this year.
Now I'm trying to get update_all to work similarly, but I can't get it to stop making these empty folders. I don't see anywhere in the script itself where it makes the directories, and it's not like it's completely ignoring my update.ini file since it respects the console cores all being in the root folder. So now whenever I run update_all, I have to go back and manually delete these folders. Or tell update_all not to run the main updater, and then run them both whenever I want updates. Any ideas as to why it does this?

Subject: Unable to load Jotego's core Street Fighter (Japan) (protected).
I'm using the alternate core Street Fighter (Japan) (protected) and I found the sfj.zip ROM, but regardless from where I download it, I get scrambled graphics. Has anyone gotten the Japanese version to run?
Thanks

Just got my Mister Fpga, works fine at first when I install Mr.fusion image and update everything. But when I take out the sd card to put roms in it, put the card back in the Mister and nothing l. It just won't boot up unless I reformat the card and install the image again. Is that normal? I'm using Kingston 128gb card and transferring the games again is tedious specially if it's not gonna work. Any help would be appreciated

Subject: Lost my job right before December=sold most of my retro games/ own a super nt and mega sg
I don't know if I'm allowed to ask but how can I get games like Starfox and Mario RPG to play on my Super NT. I know how and where to get my roms. I lost my job with fedex at the very end of November for telling in my supervisor for stealing a costumers playstation 5. I start a new job this week delivering for Amazon XL. My wife and I had already bought most of our children's Christmas gifts throughout the year thank goodness, but to pay bills and such I had to sell most of my retro collection. I kept my Super NT, Mega SG, and RetroUSB AVS. I have most of the games I sold on my Super NT through roms but a few of them I guess with the superfx chip and what not won't play and I can't seem to find a tutorial to show how. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Subject: Long shot but anyone got a Grand Stick 3 from Watermelon Games to work with Mister?
Niche topic but interested to know what's the lag like on the arcade stick. Unlikely to know the answer as very few people have probably got their's.

Subject: Real-Time Clock with Pokemon Crystal Not Working on MiSter
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else had an issue with the RTC on the Gameboy core of MiSTer. I've been playing through Pokemon Crystal and the game has been stuck at the same time that I had initially input. I have the MiSTer connected to the internet via Ethernet so I thought that would work with RTC games. Maybe there's something I'm missing about RTC in general or if the Pokemon game actually works differently. Is there any way to fix it or is it just a wait for an update kind of thing?

Does anyone know what the update today does for the MMC1 and MMC3 mappers on the MiSTer NES core?
Everything seemed pretty much perfect to me as it was, so I'm curious what was improved upon.
