I ordered a De-10 in December from mouser and they told me it would ship Jan 31st. Now I just got an email that it will ship in July 🤔

Does anyone know where I can get one quicker? 1-2 months? I don't want a pre built.

It's 10 years old and can barely handle sega saturn and ps1. Are there other options to replace it with in the near future?

A dumb thought crossed my mind recently about how interesting it would be to have printer support with Mister. Mainly for computer cores and the GB Printer, even crazier in the latter case...thermal printer support.

I know it's a bit of a pipe dream, Printers are already pretty hit/miss on Linux. But it crossed my mind, didn't see anyone talking about it, and it could probably be a fun addition especially for those doing FPGA PC builds.

I havnt ran the update all script since around sept of last year. Going to update today. Mainly Im interested in trying out the mask filters. Do those still need to be manually placed on the sd card?

One of the biggest things that bugs me is all the cores in the menu that I dont use. Is there any feature implemented to hide these? If not.... Whats the easiest way to do it manually? Just make an extra folder on sd card and move over all the cores I dont want want to show up on my core list?

I recently got a new CRT to give to my friend since he just purchased a MiSTer. However, Im running into some issues with it; with arcade cores, NES, Neo Geo, and master system, it works flawlessly, however, SNES, gameboy, gba, genesis, and some others are all out of sync. It’s only until a bright enough flash (think Konami logo in snes games) comes along that it comes into sync. Depending on the game, this may not happen at all. I’ll post my standard INI below, but i’ve tinkered around with a few different settings. One thing i did notice that I had a decent amount of success with was setting the refresh min to 59 and the max to 60. The problematic cores would still be out of sync, but when i set them to PAL (i’m in america), the sync issues would stop, and then when i set it back to NTSC it would be fine. Of course, this only works with the cores that have region options…

So what do you guys think? Its a nice CRT so i would hate for it not be usable in this case, but i’m sure I could find something else that could work for him to and donate this to someone else. Im just trying to spread the good word of CRT gaming! Thanks!

So I recently received my DE-10 Nano last week and imeddidiatly setup mister on a new 512GB SD card. I setup everything according to guides I have found online and have been having a blast. Yesterday I finally received my 128MB add-on board so I started playing some SNES games. This morning I decided it was time to setup Neo Geo games and play them and I have run into a brick wall as far as progress goes.

I found the github page at MiSter-devel/NeoGeo_MiSTer . I have tried to follow the instructions there and haven't had any luck so far and I have been spending at least 4 hours banging my head against my desk trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Here is what I have done.

1) I used the update_all script when I first setup my mister so I have the required bios files in my Neo Geo core directory. These include: sp-s2.sp1, neo-epo.sp1, sfix.sfix, uni-bios.rom, and 000-lo.lo

2) I downloaded the "Darksoft Neo Geo 2021-12-14.7z" file I found through searching. I unpacked the file and moved the game directories to my SD card.

3) I found the romset.xml file on the github page and placed it in my Neo Geo game directory that also includes my games directories.

I tried to run the games but when I go to select a directory for a game only something called "Bad Apple Demo" shows up. If I click the bad apple demo I just get a black screen.

I see on the github page that there is a "Darksoft to .neo conversion tool" link. I clicked on it and downloaded the python script to do the conversion and when I try to run the script I get an error message that says:

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: './order.txt'

The instructions for the script say nothing about a order.txt file and there isn't one on the github page for download. I am at a total loss right now and I'm about to give up for the day so I can enjoy what's left of my Saturday. I figured I would make this post and hope someone can point out a stupid mistake I'm making. Hopefully I'm just missing something very easy and I can start playing some games soon.

If anyone knows what I am doing wrong and can help me out I would be very grateful.

Hello kitens! I have an Atari flashback with wireless controllers. it worked fine. Then the console was left unused for a long time. I recently decided to turn it back on. But now both controllers just don't work for no reason! And it's not a synchronization problem, as I understand , because the indicators doesn't even blink when the buttons are pressed. I tried changing the batteries to new ones. Tried disassembling and cleaning the joystick. But nothing helped. Please really need your help or your suggestions
