Subject: Off-the-shelf or pre-modded solutions for YPbPr "component" cable (MiSTer Direct Video)
I understand you need to modify the component cable from a typical VGA to component adapter if you're using direct video to a consumer CRT TV. Something about an in-line diode? There any products out there that either have this pre-done for you, or better, a product that negates the requirement?

Subject: Does vsync_adjust do anything when outputting analog?
Most of the discussion I’ve seen around using vsync_adjust=2 in your mister.ini is around digital output. I’m running with a Standard IO board hooked up to a 27” Trinitron CRT via component. Is there any reason to change my vsync_adjust setting?

Could someone please help a newbie out and help me select the correct DE10-nano board before they run out of stock.
Digikey sell three SKU's and two of them are in stock:
It looks to me that they are all the same DE10-Nano boards but the two more expensive versions that are in stock contain the Cloud Connectivity kit. I just want to be 100% sure so which one should I buy for MiSTer FPGA gaming?
I plan on getting the DE10-Nano from Digikey and a kit from Ultimatemister.com with a NF-A4x10 5V Noctua fan and a MiSTer Power Supply 5VDC 4A.
Ultimate MiSTer Kit
– Official I/O Board XL 6.1 with Silent Fan
– Memory XS-D v2.5 128MB SDRAM
– MiSTer Official Hub 2.1 with VBUS Control
– Hub Bridge
– ADC Board for Audio In / Tape Input
– Wakefield-Vette Heatsink
– Stormtrooper Gold Edition (Oficial MiSTer Case)
I am located in Europe and will be first connecting it to my old-school Pioneer KRP500M plasma and then maybe an older-school CRT /PVM later on down the line.
Many thanks in advance.

MiSTer FPGA project gets shadow mask support
A shadowmask is a overlay like effect that mimics the look of an actual CRT and displays the picture closer to the way a CRT would. There are different masks to mimic different style screens. All of this can be set of course.
Update your MiSTer and try it out it can be enabled on the same setting screen as the filters you set and is independent of the filters so you can do composite filter plus shadowmask if you like. I feel this is a great new step that can make playing on a Flat panel a lot more authentic. One tip is that I highly recommend only going with integer scaling with the shadow mask as non integer scaling with the shadowmask leads to horrible shimmering and distortions when scrolling.

Subject: Besides misterfpga.co.uk, where can I get SNAC controller adapters with a USB connector?
I performed an "update all" and now jtegos cps2 core no longer works. It just puts me back into the main MiSTer menu when I try to boot any game. Any idea why that would be?

Subject: Which cores on the MiSTer currently support analog video output?
Can't seem to find a clear answer on this. At first I thought that all cores on the MiSTer could output both analog and digital signal, but now I'm not sure. I intend to use the MiSTer to output component video to my CRT. I also think you need to purchase an additional board for analog output? If anyone has a definitive list of which cores are compatible, that'd be awesome.
