So I have everything in place for this, I've copied the Smokemonster Amiga pack and updated my Mister to the latest version and core.
This used to work a year ago or so and it is the same files I am using but what I find now is some games just load to a black screen. Others tend to load but flicker when loading etc. They do allow me to start to play the game but the screen goes black, no sound or video.

Subject: MiSTer FPGA Arcade Core Universal Cosmic Series Games Released : Space Panic, Cosmic Alien and Magical Spot
Hey, I saw the latest build is meant to allow link up cable 2 player Gameboy games.
I went to the GitHub that was linked in the other post. It states that all games and BIOS go into a folder called GAMEBOY2P. I have made a folder inside where I keep the ROMs for Gameboy called this. (Not sure if right.) Also I went into the miscellaneous settings and enabled link up cable still no split screen. Has anyone got it working or can show me a video of someone setting it up?
Thanks for any help.

Subject: How difficult would it be to implement something like Epilogue GB Operator to work with MiSTer?
I can understand that tons of people are opposed to the idea, as it would lack real-time read/write.... But I don't care if it dumps the game/SRAM to microSD and then plays it, as long as I can continue playing Pokemon where I left off on my GBC and play on my OLED TV using MiSTer hardware. This would be a gamechanger and eliminate the need/want for environmentally disastrous GB consolizer.
My limited understanding tells me the GB core could just add an option to:
Dump GB Cart->microSD->Load ROM

Subject: MiSTer Two-Player GBA Core Demonstration Videos (Doom II Co-op, V-Rally 3, Stuntman)
I have been blown away by some of the awesome experiences that are now possible with the two player core. Below are three examples I've been able to record so far:
Doom II (Co-op): https://youtu.be/aw8Jv-sejUs
V-Rally 3 (Rallycross & Rally): https://youtu.be/K7X-4owXZDg
Stuntman (Jump Arena): https://youtu.be/nXDIMydJ16U?t=5978
What are some of your favorite multiplayer GBA games?

Subject: Could this be used as an alternative to an mt32 Pi for the Mister?
Hey everyone,
So I decided to buy the DE10-nano board with the IO and USB hub boards and everything is set up perfectly, I can play just fine on my HDTV. However I want to use my PVM of course, because what's the point of playing these consoles on a HDTV besides practicality?!
Now things get confusing: I noticed the DE-10 doesn't have any audio outputs? Right now I only have a RGB to (female) SCART cable that's plugged in the PVM (used in the past for retro consoles). This cable has an audio wire. Would it suffice to buy a male SCART to VGA cable? I would guess not, because VGA obviously does not transmit audio, so I would only have the image correct?
Sorry, but this project has been massively confusing to me, setting it up was horrible and I just want to be done with it finally!!

Subject: MiSTer @ 1440P 4:3 stream and capture plus output to LG C1 OLED
I stayed up way too late last night, but I got my setup re-wired and re-configured so I can capture and stream MiSTer @ 1440P 4:3 while outputting to my LG C1 OLED! I had to move my other devices onto a USB capture card and put the MiSTer directly into the PCI capture card. Most of the time was diagnosing a bad HDMI cable and figuring out how to get SLOBS to use 4:3 correctly.
1440P 4:3 is the maximum the MiSTer can output. It allows a 6x integer scale of most retro game resolutions. I had a hard time finding information about this setup so I thought I should document what I did to help anyone else going down this road. The gear I'm using:
Setup notes:
- My PC is set to 3840x2160 (4K) at 120Hz, directly connected to the LG TV and set to "PC" input label
- SLOBS Settings -> Video -> Base (Canvas) Resolution: 3840x2880
- SLOBS Settings -> Video -> Output (Scaled) Resolution: 1920x1440
- MiSTer HDMI out to AverMedia capture card HDMI In
- AverMedia capture card HDMI Out to LGTV HDMI In (optional)

Hi, i was wondering if anyone has compared if there is any audio lag by using ARC vs Toslink. My current setup is Using a CEC-less cable to connect my Mister to my OLED CX and using ARC to my Onkyo Receiver. But i was wondering if it would be better to use a MiniToslink to Toslink cable to the Receiver.

So I've been playing Amiga and C64 games on my new Mister and really enjoying it. I thought I'd grab a CRT and found a free 27 inch set on FB marketplace. It's been a great reminder of why I hate CRT's. The thing is a flickery blurry mess compared to the cheap 1080p sceptre LCD TV I had it hooked up to. I know some folks prefer the look of a CRT but it really didn't do anything for me.
Any suggestions on a good modern CRT that plays nicely. My main PC is on a 34 inch ultra widescreen and considered getting a smaller display to sit next to it for retro gaming purposes. Ironically I had two Dell 2001FP's that I replaced years ago! I saw some recommendations on an ASUS 16:10 display that is 1200 pixels tall but I'm more into Amiga stuff which might not be the same multiple of 240p.

Probably a stupid question but I'm assuming the very first thing it does is check for an update to itself right?

Subject: MiSTer IO Board, Ext. LEDs. Which pins correspond to which LED?
Subject: If I swap controllers on MiSTer will I have to remap them every time?
Hey all, I've got a MiSTer at home and 2.4ghz controllers for NES, SNES, PCE, SMD, SS, and an 8bitDo arcade stick. I also have an XBone controller.
So far I've only been using the XOW script to use the XBone controller because my wireless keypad hasn't arrived in the mail yet.
I like to play each core with it's corresponding controller and was wondering if I'll have to remap them each time I want to swap cores.
So for instance, I'm playing SNES with an 8bitDo SNES controller but I decide I want to play NES. I reboot back to the main menu, put the 8bitDo receiver into pairing mode, and connect my NES controller I had already mapped during a previous session. Do I now have to remap that NES controller or does the MiSTer 'remember' the inputs I had set for it previously?
I'm really hoping I only have to map these controllers once apiece because I'd like for my friends to be able to 'pick up and play' when I have company. Thanks for your time

I'm having trouble getting Dodonpachi to work on my TV. Whenever I boot it up, I get a one second flash of the game start up screen and then it goes to a black screen with a "Unsupported Resolution" error message from my TV. This is happening on all 3 versions (original, arrange, Japan).
I've tried booting the game with 1080p60, 720p60 and 480p60 resolutions with no success.
Anyone know how to get this game working? Thanks in advance!
