I was just wondering if there's any projects trying to do for retro PC gaming what, say, MiSTer is to consoles and arcades. In my naïve though, I just realized how cool it'd be to set up a retro pc gaming box just by selecting some cores (I'm not sure it could be as I understand a core is already a full setup machine but eh). A bit like PCEmu but on an FPGA powerful enough.

Subject: Component not syncing on some SNES games on JVC D-Series CRT
I have been using the Mister with the analog board and component cables on a Toshiba CRT for the last month or so but recently replaced the Toshiba with a JVC D-Series model. I've found that while the Genesis, NES and Neo Geo cores all work perfectly, there are some titles on the SNES core which no longer sync with the JVC. This includes Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country, though most other titles such as Contra III Alien Wars and R-Type III all work fine, so there is something unique to these titles causing the sync issue.
I also have an actual SNES with an Everdrive running the same ROM's and it works perfectly, so in this case it seems more to do with a problem with the hardware emulation on the SNES core than a problem with the ROM or even the TV. I'd assume that proper emulation would work consistently across all the titles for the same core.
I can always fall back to the SNES for those titles that don't work, but it is a hassle to not have everything working on the Mister.
Let me know if there are any suggestions on how to resolve this problem.

It looks like the page for the aluminum case no longer exists on misteraddons.com. Any idea if this will be sold again in the future?
I wanted to buy a black one previously but it was always out of stock.
