just wondering if anyone has gone from a m340 to an M3 or M4? Is it worth it? My M340 is fully loaded and I love it so what would the gain be going to an M3 or M4? Any other thoughts?

What do you guys think of E32 V8 with M60B30 engine as a project car. The car has 300k km on it (possibly a lot more as I can't really verify it). The guy is asking €3800 for it but I am sure I could get him to come down to 3000-3500€. It looks nice on the pictures, I am not seeing any visible rust (but I am sure there is rust somewhere as I live in a place where roads get salted). Interior also looks OK.

I don't have a lot of experience with cars. I drive an F10 as a daily and I wouldn't dare to touch anything on it when it comes to mechanical stuff. I would like to learn more about cars and work on a project car. I really like how the E32, E34, E28, E23 look and would therefore like to work on one of those. What do you guys think? Is it too much for a newbie? What should I bear in mind?

I'm in the market for an F25 20d. What do you think about this model and engine?

Posted on maintenance Monday thread but still no replies, anyway, here’s my problem: 2002 e46 325i with 250k km, started it up today after the car hadn’t been used for about a week, car started to shake for about 15 seconds then everything was normal, pulling out of the driveway stepped on the gas pedal and just didn’t respond but was still rolling at about 20km/h, pulled to the side of the road and turned it off and then on again, car was working as normal with above issues not present, any thing I should get checked out or is it normal for a car to be acting like this after sitting in the garage for a week?

I know this car gets a lot of hate, but do you guys think it’ll be highly valued in 10-15 years? I think it will be mainly because it’s being discontinued this year and it’s only been in production for 5 years, kind of making it a rarity. Curious on everyone’s thoughts
