I just got my 530i tinted and it looks like some of the strips on the drivers and passengers side have some dim spots. Does this go away or do I need to take it to the dealer?

Looking for advice please. My trusted mechanic, who i trust dearly, changed one of my worn tyres on my BMW 135 coupe to a run flat, without asking me. I changed all the tyres years back to non run flats because I preferred the ride (dads advice). When my mechanic let me know that he's changed the wheel back to a run flat, and I enquired if that is safe, having three non run flats and one run flat he said yeah its not an issue. I'm going to go back and politely enquire, but just feel and read that you shouldn't mix non run flats with run flats, and that he should of asked me before doing so? What are your thoughts?

Current ride, 2013 535xi. Great car just getting old. The question is - is the 840i fast enough, or does one really need that m850 xi? There’s a considerable price difference used.

Hey guys so I bought my BMW New from a BMW Dealership in SoCal (100 miles from me) and I started noticing some rattling in the steering column area and also in the rear window area. Took it to my local dealer and at first they couldn't replicate the issue but then I have taken it back a second time and they took apart the steering column and I've just recently got a call telling me they have found a 3rd party device that is zip tied that is not a BMW part and that it is made in China. So now my local dealer won't touch the car.

I'll obviously have to probably take it back to the original dealer I bought it from at this point to remove it now etc. I texted the sales guy and he has no idea what it is and will talk to his service director tomorrow is what he said to me.

Is there anything else I should do or be worried about?

I have a pair n54 stock downpipe and a b58 stock downpipe, I wanna know how much I can get out of them, how to sell them and how much they’re are worth. Someone offered me 150 for the b58 cat is that cheap?

I currently have a 2014 BMW 228 with the M-sport package and a stage one tune. Currently love the car; its so agile and handles amazing on back roads. I am currently looking for a new car and need some suggestions.

I test drove a new M4 and the thing drives like a SUV. It's personally too big and heavy for me and I am not a fan of the looks. I don't really care about tech in a car and my main criteria is handling and fun to drive.

My budget is 70k new or used.

Just left a small meet and greet since it was somewhat nice after work and they asked me if I was going to add a tune and switch to a single turbo, I told them I was keeping it stock and everyone was floored. Nobody could understand why I don't want to have 700hp by June and basically stopped talking to me out of pure disgust.

Is this normal?! 😢

Howdy folks.

So I got BM3 Stage 1 - 91 Octane on my 2018 330xi M-Sport with M Performance Exhaust. The rest of the car is stock.

When the car is in Sport or Sport Sharp under heavy acceleration off the line, there is a whistling noise. The noise seems to be coming from front driver side.

Any suggestions on what it can be? It was not there before under same circumstances prior to BM3.

While driving my car started nonstop beeping. It sounded like some sort of electrical short coming from the rear of the car. I eventually lifted up the trunk compartment and there was an inch of water there. Now my tailgate won’t go up on its own and the noise is still going. I vacuumed out the water but have yet to determine exactly where the water is coming from. Any ideas?
