Subject: 2012 750i x Drive alpine B7 Question

This is probably a lame question. My aging grandfather has a 2012 750i with 31k miles that he is looking to sell. I just test-drove the vehicle and didn't notice any alpina badging, however, when he provided me with the blue book quote that is the style he had written on the paper and what the quote was for. I wasn't able to stay long today due to my young daughter, but I'll be going back over in a few days. I guess my question is, is it standard for the alpina B7 badging to not be located on the car? is that an after-market thing people will add? I just drove the car today and didn't look under the hood. He's sending me the VIN number shortly but am pretty anxious and (hopeful) he was correct.

Subject: Is the maintenance cost of a 640i considerably higher than that of 340i/440i?

I am thinking of either a 2018 640i, 340i, or 440i. I wonder if the maintenance cost (including suspensions etc) will cost way more for 640i than the other two?

Subject: BMW 2007 760LI, worth it?

For sale 760LI for $4,000, close to no issues, 3 owners, first owner took great care of it, serviced every 6 months, the second owner also serviced it every 8-12 months, and the third owner seemed to keep it for collection as it was close to 0-mile increase. If I have the budget, would this be a fun project car? My close friend is a technician at the BMW dealership near me, and we would be working on this car, 50%-50%.
