Subject: Bugatti Veyron driver is surprised by performance of BMW M5.
Went ahead and pulled the trigger on a crank no start 318i and I’m hoping to get her running asap. I’m starting with getting the battery checked and testing to see if it still cranks with a fresh battery then moving on to the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. If anybody has got some recommendations feel free to let me know.

Subject: Throwback to when Regular Car Reviews said this during his review of a 2003 BMW 525i...
" This is the first BMW I've driven since the E30 that doesn't take part in stereotypical Bimmer peacocking. You know... Spoiled, cul-de sac gangstas. Crackling along route 30, in October, searching for unharvested stocks of a white boy summer that never was. And somewhere between the amish farmsteads and Lancaster strip malls, lies a hetero Eden for them. If only they shoot enough gaps on the dotted white lines. If only they do that, a portal will open where their red cups will never empty and all of their DMs are full of sex workers, making the first move. "
As much as I love BMWs, this has to be one of the most accurate and poetic ways a Bimmer Boy has ever been described.

Just over a week ago my new M340i died after trying to do a software update - the update failed and the car had to be towed.
On a previous post some of you said that this does happen, but it’s rare. Have any of you had first hand experience of this with a new car from BMW, and how long it took the dealer to repair?
It looks like I will be waiting for 6+ weeks for a replacement amp, stuck driving a rental! My concern is that I’ve got myself a lemon and the amp won’t resolve anything - I hope that I’m wrong about that.

Hello guys, I’m looking into buying my very first BMW.
What is the real L/100km petrol consumption on 340i?
Is the 340i mild hybrid? Like my Audi A4 2.0 tfsi?

Collected my new X1 Sport last week and so far, I'm really pleased with it.
However, I was not so pleased to discover the factory have fitted Nexen N-Fera Sport tyres, which seem to be a budget range and worse, get mediocre reviews.
My last BMW had factory fitted Michelin Primacy 3 - a brand I stuck with throughout the time I kept the car (four years).
Has anyone else had a brand new BMW with factory supplied inferior tyres? Do I have any chance of insisting on something better being fitted from BMW and/or the dealer?

I hit something and my passenger side mirror cover shattered. The actual mirror itself is perfectly fine and functional with all the power adjustments. I just need to replace the cover that faces the front of the car. I'm based near Toronto need to know where I can find a replacement and how much it should cost. I've tried looking online but can't find the right thing as far as I know. My knowledge is pretty poor.

Is it worth buying a 2019 330i M package instead of the base model? Is it worth the extra cost? What are some pro and cons?

Subject: Before and after! (rear lip added when I got the car back in feb) just thankful to still have this beauty!
Looking at a 2018 330i with about 113k miles for $16,996. 1 owner all maintenance has been done at the BMW dealership.
I know the 330i (should) be reliable.
Is that a terrible choice or decent price. Let me know what you guys think.
