The engine in my M135i let go so I decided to buy my dream car instead. (Story in comments)

Just before Christmas I noticed my F20 M135i was not getting as warm as it should. The heaters would cool down as I drove on, unfortunately we had a 40°C summer and I never noticed. Turns out the thermostat had been stuck open for way too long which completely ruined the head with emulsification.

Sent the car to the dealer as I had warranty and the car started to misfire and stumble. After a long investigation, it turns out cylinder 3 has failed.

BMW are replacing the engine under warranty along with all components that have oil flow. Although this was all a good outcome, I just lost confidence in the car and decided if I didn't do this now I never will.

A week later I just purchased my dream car, F82 M4. Can't wait to pick it up next week.
