Subject: Something very unexpected about owning my first bmw

So I crashed my daily and in a hurry purchased a 2011 328xi. Fairly low miles and absolutely in love with it. I’ve owned a ton of cars more expensive and more performance but this might be the best driving car I’ve owned.

Anyways the crazy part is everyone who sees I bought a bmw now thinks I’m absolutely loaded. I have a 2015 mustang gt twin turbo and people absolutely love it but never got comments about how I must make a good living. Now I drive this decade old bmw(granted it hasn’t aged a bit imo)and everyone’s making comments about it lol!

Anyways just wanted to share I see why you guys love these cars so much it’s a beautiful car. Have a great weekend

Subject: Why tf do bmw use pirelli p zero on a car with less then 200hp

Lost 2 tires and slashed the other, we ran 80km with the run flats, had to change all 4. The run flats pirellis ware almost 4 times the price of a mid tier tire

Subject: Manged to wash my wireless key fob by accident and saved it from death!

So I accidently left my key fob for my 120D in my jeans and in the wash it went. Took the battery out and made sure not to press any of the buttons and left it on the radiator in the house for a week with some silica in a bag and now it works like a charm.

I made the same mistake several years ago and made the mistake of trying to make it work after just a day of drying out and it went haywire and then broke.

Making this post in the hope that it may save someone a few hundred in the future.

Subject: Joined the BMW club recently with a 2021 x1 xdrive28i. So far i’ve tinted the front windows to match the rears, debadged, and wrapped the rear reflectors black.
