F30 coding issue

I have ENTRYNAVEVO with ID6 on my 67 plate 330e (F30 LCI)

I have already coded in Apple CarPlay

Now, I have completed the 8.8in retrofit, part 6822626 from 2017 335d

The iDrive side of things is fine:

iDrive works perfectly with no distortion

Carplay was installed using feature installer (fsc codes).

Now, for the Carplay, even though it was perfect on the 6.5 in screen, is appearing stretched, and jarring to the eyes. I have OCD so it’s really bugging me!

I tried coding back the Carplay_Fullscreen to Nicht_aktiv, but even in split screen it is stretched, albeit less stretched.

I am tired of this today so I will do it tomorrow, but is there anything I can do?

I can see there are more options in Bimmercode expert.

CARPLAY_SWT - currently set to nicht_aktiv APPLE_ENHANCEMENTS - again, nicht_aktiv

Is there any workaround for this? I can’t see why it would be stretched. People with Pro nav got full screen carplay without stretching, and this is the same screen and resolution? Surely it’s nothing to do with ENAV_EVO and there has got to be a workaround?

I have a 2018 M550i, an iPhone 14 running iOS16.2.

I have an intermittent but frequent issue where the car consistently switches to CarPlay as the audio source. No audio/media apps are open on my phone, and usually, nothing plays. If I switch to XM or FM within less than a second or two, it will jump back to CarPlay.

I just had it in the shop and asked about it, they tried to duplicate it and, of course, could not. I deleted the phone from the car, and vice versa. I've reset my network settings on the phone...no dice.

It's frustrating as I pay for XM and would also like to listen to sports talk on FM radio occasionally. As I said, it's not a 100% of the time issue, but it probably is a 70% of the time issue.

Does anyone else have this issue? BMW said they'd never heard of it and had no real solution aside from "turn it off and on."

I would appreciate any help as I am slowly losing my mind.

Hey guys, i'm currently thinking about buying a used BMW E36 and wanted to ask for some advice, if there is something special i should be prepared for or any common problems. I prefer an automatic transmission and a convertible as i wann use it mostly in the summer (of course also in the winter cause cars are made to be driven with :D)
