Subject: How often do you drive in Sport mode?
BMW ///M owners, how often are you driving in sport mode these days? Doesn’t have to be sport plus, can just be sport individual or normal sport. I’ve had my CPO 2020 m340i for almost a year now, and would like to see how often everyone is driving in sport with gas prices being as they are, etc.
Want to make sure I’m not under utilizing my cars potential! There’s days I want to switch to a SUV but then i put my car in Sport and remember how fun it is.

Subject: Drove a C63s. Made me love bmw even more.
Last winter, I test drove an AMG for the first time. For reference, my point of view is coming from driving my bone stock 2008 E92 335i coupe (daily) and a 2021 M2 competition prior to the AMG on the same day. I wanted to see first hand what Mercedes brought to the table compared to its competitors. At my local dealership, they had a 2021 C63 s coupe on the lot. First thing I noticed when I got in was how cluttered everything was. There were a trillion buttons for features I didn’t even know existed. The dash, steering wheel, and center console was incredibly distracting. So much so that I could barely focus on the road. The handling felt worse to me than my 13 year older bmw. The M2 competition was light years ahead of the C63s in terms of handling (I know they aren’t directly comparable). Acceleration was underwhelming. I did enjoy the sound though. I immediately knew that bmw is a much more driver focused car than Mercedes (my opinion). My old 335i felt more exhilarating, even though it is slower. I still have yet to drive an RS Audi, but for now…..
This solidified my love for BMW!
My dad has always been a Porsche and BMW guy his whole life, and he passed down those admirations to me!
Subject: Review - 430i Convertible as my first car? I've always wanted a convertible
Background I am a software engineer, looking to purchase my first car. I got interested in convertibles during my hunt for the perfect car. Leading me to debate between the hardtop and soft tops. Upon reading the review majority of reviews said the wind noise gets irritating after a while.
Leading me to choose hard tops over soft ones.
Coming to hardtop - If all the outings I saw - MINI(old ones) - Lexus IS 250 (2015) - Mazda Miata MX5 - BMW 428i/430i/440i (which I like the most for the looks & interior
My thoughts about the car - - Best of both worlds (hardtop = sedan + convertible California fun car) - avg/good mileage (22 city/34 hwy) - kinda poster car/dream car - smooth drive - android auto/car play (must have) - last line up of hardtop convertible in BMW series 4 ( which would at least sell for 20k, considering I see 2011 convertible for 20k right now)
Finances The car is about 38k The way I look at it is 10k per year for 4.5 years w/ EMI === 45k at the end
I am 24M Single, earning about 150k a year(pre-tax) & live in San Diego. Being single I could contribute more towards principles by cutting down a few other costs( vs people with family/kids/ couples may have to compromise between this or that)
Asking/ Guidance I am not asking Reddit to justify my purchase, I just don't want to make a Rash decision. So looking for your thoughts on my thoughts. Thank you in advance

I just picked this up a couple of weeks ago. I found it on a dealer lot. Edrive 40, mineral white, tacora red sensatec, M-sport package, premium package, phone charger. Man this car is fun! I should have bought a BMW before now. The build quality and fit and finish is superb. I’m new here so please be kind..

Subject: Things to be aware of if purchasing an M5?
Thinking of going in for a 45k mileage 2016 M5, currently own a 320d touring. Aside from the obvious, gas guzzling and high insurance, are there things I ought to know? A lot of the vehicles I have seen in this bracket have had lots of owners, is this something to be concerned about? Common issues? Thoughts?

Cars shouldn't have to be flat bed towed when they are barely 2 years old, c'mon now. Car wouldn't recognize key. Bonus: the windows and roof were stuck rolled down on the 300 mile drive and i'm fairly certain it rained because I was 20 min ahead of the tow in my rental and I got drenched.
