Hi Happy new year guys! is e46 (coupe 330) with mechanical transmission actually good car to use as a daily driver and still have fun with it? thanks !

I have an issue where the ambient light on the drivers door and footwell work but do not work or turn on elsewhere.

How can I approach solving this problem myself (not a mechanic). The forums I have seen are not properly assisting with this issue which may be common and I am not finding a solution on YouTube as well.

Considering transferring a BMW lease to another person. We’re about to make our first of the last 6 payments.

I’ve heard you can’t transfer in the last 6 months - if I start the process before the lease payment am I still good to go?

In almost every video of an N55 M2, it makes this lift off "thruuummm" sound. Apparently mild ALS.

Does the S55 M2C also do the same and is there a video of it? Some people have said yes, but I can't find any video of an M2C that does it.

recently had to change my battery on my 116i BMW. Old one was quite different than the new one as i was told the old one was not the right one. When i took my car to the shop to get registered. The mechanic did not even bother to ask anything about the new battery or old battery. He didnt even open up the battery compartment see the battery information. To the people who have actually done battery registration for batteries did he actually register my New battery , could he see the new battery info on his little device. im abit paranoid that all he registered it as the same type...
