Subject: Thoughts on xpel clear bras?

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Hey gang. I just bought my first bmw -- its brand new and i'd like to keep it looking immaculate. What are your thoughts on Xpel Clear Bra? I think wrapping the entire vehicle is excessively expensive, but am considering at least the front end, and potentially the hood/each side of the windscreen. Is this a good move, or is there a better alternative?

Thanks!

Subject: “First mile/road hazard” insurance actually worth it ?

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

by least in NYC… 2300 dollars for. 3 years… these run flat on the m850i are freaking 350+ retail each… To my surprise in the middle of a four lane highway there is a raised sharp bump in middle of the road (gotta love NYC). It took out both of my fronts (passenger side started losing air after a week, and the driver side got a bubble). All this within 6months of purchase lol… the insurance already covered about 900$ worth of cost lol… NYC ⠀roads certainly not nice to cars… highly recommend anybody using run flats in NYC. Knock on wood I don’t get anymore out of this insurance lol.

Subject: Hi! I am a journalist and I am looking for informations about tyre change price differences!

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Hello!

I am a Hungarian journalist and I am looking for some international info for my article. Here in Hungary we are experiencing that changing a summer tyre to a winter one costs about 30% more due to heating price changes and inflation.

To buy used tyres cost almost as much as new tyres 2 years ago. And new tyres about 20%.

Many people try to save money buy replacing their tyres for themselves and also using 10-15 years old tyres which is very dangerous. Also many considers changing to 4 season tyres.

Can you give me some info about all these in your country? Would be so nice to see the big picture! Thank you!

Subject: stripped transmission fill plug on 2010 X3

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

My 17mm hex transmission fill plug for GM transmission on 2010 BMW x3 is completely stripped. Space is extremely tight. Tried open end wrench, 6 pt wrench, pipe wrench, hammer and chisel, kniper plier etc. Nothing worked. Bolt won't budge. No space for socket wrench, bolt extractor. What next to try?
