Physically, musically, or both?
Is it an original lineup, or is it one member with rights to the name and a bunch of studio artists he put together to tour to fund his blow habit? :)
Tue Oct 25 2022 20:05:14 MST from TheDaveWent to see the New Order/Pet Shop Boys tour what they're co-headlining. New Order haven't aged very well, but Pet Shop Boys have never been better. Paul Oakenfold played before each set, and he's really great too. Very enjoyable trip. Took some videos, posted to Facebook because my friends who were there wanted me to tag them in it.

Pet Shop Boys is only two people and they bring in musicians as needed based on the songs they'll be performing. It's always an amazing show, though. Their sense of theatre is really spectacular and the sets and lighting are half the fun. Neil's voice is aging like fine wine.
New Order I'm less familiar with, really only knowing the singer Bernard Sumner, who hasn't been taking as good care of his voice. As far as I know it's the same lineup from their Joy Division days minus the guy who died leading to the name change, but I could be completely off base there.
LOL. That took so long I forgot the original question. I knew Pet Shop Boys was just two guys, basically - so the question was really "is it still the original band"?
I saw Stone Temple Pilots recently. They're literally half the band they used to be.
hur-hur-hur. Dark humor.

I got two official T-shirts and two bootleg ones and I wear them all the time and I recently got a compliment on it from some rando. It's not like Pet Shop Boys or New Order are super mainstream here so it's nice when people like them.
I used to get compliments all the time on my T-shirts when we had the German exchange student. She *hated* it. Heh. I think... I dunno... I was too cool to fit her vision of an exchange-host parent and it irritated her.
It was hilarious. We went to a free concert and a cop complimented me on my Dave Mustaine for President shirt, and she just rolled her eyes and went, "I don't know why everyone likes your shirts so much!"
But it was hilarious with her German accent.
